Simply it is great that this machine washes and dries; "all in one". You can dump all your laundry and start this before going to bed. Next morning, all done (both wash and dry). Now you don't have to move between washer and dryer. No chance of wet laundry sitting in the washing machine for days... Perfect.

Energy efficient. There is a learning curve if you get this or a similar model. Ignore the negative reviews. The ability to accept a total change in how you do laundry is 50% of the battle here.

It makes no sense to have dryer if washer can do. This is so much more efficient. Yes, it takes 8 hours to wash + dry. Unless you have a large family, there shouldnt be any issue. I use it every Sat morning before my hiking.

LG Washer is Great!

Machine does an excellent job of getting tough stains out. It can be a bit noisy during operation, we just close the door to the spare bathroom where we have the machine.
