    Absolute Junk, purchased this washer last year (2021) in May. It set in an empty vacation home for 8 months and was only used 15 times. Quit working and the Out of warranty repair will be over $500 due to a faulty pump drive. My repair tech said this is very common with these washers.

    Water not draining fully after 2-4 uses, contacted Best Buy customer service who recommended to contact the manufacturer to self-diagnose since extended protection plan was not purchased — a 10-day old product should be covered without any additional coverage.

    This unit chimes and YOU CANNOT TURN IT OFF OR TURN IT DOWN. I would NEVER have purchased if it mentioned this fact ANYWHERE!!!!! It doesn't in the ads OR in the scant instruction manual. TERRIBLE!!!!!

    All seemed well until my house flooded, and it was determined the installer did not hook up the washer drain to the drain vent. Now we are remediating our upstairs and downstairs due to water damage.

    I'd give this 0 stars. Four months old and it stopped draining. LG contracts with A&E Factory Service and they DON'T SHOW UP! Do NOT buy LG products!

    Stinky clothes

    Washer leaves clothes smelling horrible. Even cleaning washer with bleach, vinegar, baking soda; washer leaves clothes stinky. We leave the door open and disoenser open after use. We have used more detergent, less detergent and clothes still smell.

    Leaks

    The washer door leaked on first use. Suds we’re pushed out the vent on the back of the washer and onto the floor damaging the ceiling below. No way to pause the cycle. No “suds” system to allow it to calm or drain and rinse.

    This was a newer version of what I already had - hardly anything has changed. Also, this one did not work - the spin cycle did not work, everything came out sopping wet, and then the it stopped working completely after one week. I returned it.

    i’m not sure if i got a defective machine but this is almost jet engine loud. i was so surprised nobody mentioned it. i am going to try to return it but best buy is giving me a hard time after having it ten days. let’s see with a lawsuit

    In a given load many of my clothes come out dry and stinky! Is the water not penetrating? When I watch there never seems to be any water visible

    Total garbage. Can't balance itself, every load I have to remove items or move items around. Often. Come back 2 hours later to find it stuck with 20 minutes to go. Junk

    Water Damage... returning

    Lost its seal and flooded our laundry room with the first load, spoke with tech support which was pretty useless because all they did was had me do everything I already had and with a very thick accent. We tried it again and it worked ok. The following time it leaked again....

    Doesn’t seem like it cleans, my white clothes have the stain still after washing . Washer now these day do work good.
