The exchange of the Samsung (which couldnt be balanced) for the LG was hassle free, and i am enjoying the LG now. It is quiet, efficient and apart from slight vibration, which is to be expected, it runs as well or better than any washer Ive ever owned. Plus, i bought Geek Squad protection prior to this purchase; my four yo machine broke and the technician was knowledgeable. Even though the news was that I would have to buy a new machine, he knew enough about the reliability of brands to recommend the more reliable ones. This is my 7th Best Buy appliance purchase and even though one had to be returned right away because it was defective, i will not purchase appliances anywhere else.

My previous washer would do a normal load in 54 minutes, this machine takes 90 minutes. Most loads also take an additional 13 minute spin cycle to wring out the load completely. Controls are counter intuitive and reset to default after each load.

Delivery was smooth and installation was professionally done. Very pleased with buying online and scheduling a delivery. This is my second LG front loader and the first one served us well for over a decade.

When we sold we left our washer and dryer at our old place. After using the washer and dryer left at our new house we were so disappointed. After a week we gave in and reordered this washer/dryer duo because of how nice quality they are, easy to use, and many modes to chose from. I definitely recommend this brand & product!

The older washer had more manual controls, which I sort of like better. This one is 'smarter', most of the settings are automatic and are 'sensed' by the washer once the cycle starts. It is harder to override the settings. But, in the end it washes the clothes well... And, it has a much larger capacity, which is real nice for washing comforters, blankets, etc.

Clean design, but cycle takes too long

Unfortunately, none of the new models are the same size so I had to settle for side by side models. Although I would have rather purchased a different material/color this washer does have a clean, simple design. It has a large capacity, but takes forever. I may need to use the gentle cycle because the normal setting adjusted for medium spin can take over 80 minutes at times! It is also challenging to see the light to show which cycle you have selected and there is no light to tell you for how long you can still add a garment. One great feature is a tiny drain in the front for excess water and debris. Overall it does the job, but I'm not thrilled with this product.
