It takes a moment or two to fill the tub but that might just be because how my pipes are set up. I would advise to leave the door open when not in use as front load washers tend to get a musty smell if not permitted to dry out in between washes.

I do not even have the hot water hooked up to save electricity. Im sure the hot water is better for sterilization but it is not needed for cleaning. I can see it uses very little water compared to my old top loader, saving even more electric.

The LG washer I replaced with this one was much better, which is why I went with LG again. The noise during water delivery and throughout the wash cycle is very distracting—even from two rooms away. The filter access door is also a real hassle. When you open it to clean the filter, water spills out everywhere—onto the floor and even into the pedestal drawer. For the price, I expected a smoother, quieter machine and better design. It cleans fine, but the noise and mess take away from the overall experience. Unfortunately, the only way to find out about these types of issues is through reviews, since there is no way to test before buying. That is why I am leaving this review.

To address noise, ensure the washer is level on all corners, as even slight tilting can increase sound during operation. LG front loading washer

But this LG frontloader restored my faith. I love it. It is quiet and efficient. I would highly recommend this one!

I'm using HE detergent but still the washing isn't the best. Please be sure to remove the shipping bolts from the back before you use, our handyman didn't and it shook the whole house the vibration was so bad!! Once we figured it out it's quiet and steady
