Did the troubleshooting and reached out to LG. Not able to resolve. Doesnt happen all the time but frequent enough. Since my laundry room is in the second floor its even worse. It seems this model does not have enough settings to deal with unbalanced load.

Terrible customer service Experience

I love the washing machine but not delivery process. I missed a whole day of work and each phone call to rectify it took at least 30 minutes.

Bought based on reviews and CR ratings and regret the purchase with almost every load of laundry. Constantly get error code IE (1-3 times with most loads) and troubleshooting does nothing. I have not called about it so that’s on me but a new machine also shouldn’t have these issues. Machine also smells like mildew in spite of being left open always when not in use, regularly cleaning tub and seal along with dispenser drawer and draining. On the rare occasion that clothes have sat in machine for an hour I end up rehashing to get rid of mildew smell. Machine always has a small bit of standing water left inside the tub. I have never owned a front load machine that was such a waste of time and money as this.

Bought to replace the LG 2550 set, which, at that time, was inexpensive, selling for about the same price, but was looking much more expensive this this pair. This one is good for a cheap rental property, but not for a main residence. Dryer even does not have an internal light, which is the issue with more expensive LG dryers as well.

Chat assist person tried to me make new best buy credir card and order one more product make advance new installation schdule. 3. Nobody doesn't assist me about this delayed schedule so I staying 1weeks without washing machine.

They both had the same issue: it ran scolding hot water for a cold wash and had a door error that prevented the machine from ever finishing a wash. I learned this because my sheets sat in there, soaking wet for hours. A technician told me this is very common among these machines and recommended I just get a different one. Don’t bother!!!

It uses barely any water and takes forever for all of the clothes to become saturated. Actually, that is being far too generous as the clothes are more like damp when running a full load. When the cycle is FINALLY complete after 90 minutes, the clothes don't even smell fresh. My old Kenmore that I had for 15 years did a much better job. I'm regretting this "upgrade." Very disappointing.

Doesn’t last!

Have to restart washer 3-4 times to complete 1 load that takes hrs! Have the protection plan and tech came out in a couple days. He orederd parts and said he would be back on Thursday. He never showed or called. Called customer service and they told me it’s scheduled for next Wednesday. Hopefully be shows because we can’t do our laundry for almost 2 weeks! Should have kept the old washer that was outdated but worked.

Long washing cycle

First, it does not adequately drain, leaving a small pool of water after a wash, despite attempts by the plumber, etc. and making sure the drain is no further than 5 ft. away. We were never told of the latter requirements when purchasing the machine. Our former LG never required such extensive modifications! Second -- no matter what I do, I cannot get it to stop rinsing the clothes with hot water! Despite the setting I choose, and despite the manufacturer's claim that "all rinses are in cold water," when I remove the clothes, they are HOT! Third -- I cannot customize any cycles. Despite all the buttons, they are preset. You can't stop it in the middle of a cycle. Fourth - in particular the cold water wash/delicate cycle leaves the clothes very heavy/wet. Fifth - I can't wash bathroom rugs in it without it leaving them soaking wet and "UE" -- uneven code comes up and won't spin them dry. All in all -- I wish I had never given up my old LG machine!

Washing machine

It is level but still moves at least 3” over the floor after each cycle. I keep place to put it back in it original space. I bought this as an open box listed in excellent condition with just a few scratches but it has a big dent in the side when it was delivered. I did get a good price and it does clean the clothes but I would have returned it, if had paid more.
