LG washers are ok but if you are do large numbers of laundry it probably won’t last very long. If you are just doing the Sunday Laundry day thing then you will be happy with the washer.

The lack of agitation and limited water can't effectively remove soil and oily (cooking oil) stains. These are not the front load units of 15 - 20 years ago. The cleansing options and chimes are nice, but I would prefer a one cycle unit if it got my clothing/garments clean. Make sure you purchase bulk stain remover if you have kids.

Quirky - but happy with my decision

I just got it today and did about 6 loads so far. I like it but it does have some weird quirks. It’s in the garage and my WiFi is too far away so can’t use the app. Whatever? Don’t care about that, but it is preset and each time a load finishes, it reverts to the factory preset. So? The preset wash is over an hour and it is automatically set to hot water. You have to manually adjust it every time you start a load. I’m not used to that, so I spent most the day forgetting and running super long cycles (over an hour), on hot water. Im just gonna have to train myself to remember to manually adjust it every single time, which is annoying because someday I’ll forget and shrink my favorite sweater. But that will be my fault I guess. So? Yes so far I like my new washer. If you get one, just remember the quirks. Oh, and like other reviewers said, the display is a little hard to read. They could have done better IMHO. Other than that it’s really quiet and spins so well the clothes are hardly wet when the cycle is done.

Did not remove “screws” in the drum Multiple times. The delivery people don’t know what they are doing. As for the machine itself, A normal load runs over 1.5 hours.. and spin cycle is 20 minutes (should only be 5 minutes). I have never had a machine that cycle runs for so long. I need an entire day to do laundry. If I do anything more than a normal load like sheets, perm press it runs for over 2 hours. Poor product overal.

Failed after 4 days

On 1/2/2020 it fails and gives a PF failure in the middle of a cycle. I can't even get the clothes out because when I follow the instructions to drain it, it goes into PF mode again. We chose LG because consumer reports gave the the highest reliability rating.

Too many settings for what’s required to wash most clothes. I can not believe for the money there is no light inside. Terrible oversight. Control buttons very hard to read in low light.
