Very quiet and smooth machine. But the front digital panel is very hard to read and make settings unless there is direct light on the panel. Also I can not get it to connect via WiFi to my smart phone. I checked and I am getting a good signal but every time I enter the serial number that is given to me by the Smart ThinQ app, It keeps coming up that it's the incorrect serial number. If you are thinking of buying the LG WM3500CW and wanting to use the app with it, think twice! Since there are two things I dislike, I'm subtracting a star for each one.

If your only option is for a front facing machine due to space/layout would recommend. But if you have the option I would go with a top load washer instead.

Best buy delivered another machine and that failed Oct 2019- another bearing failure. The machine sounded like a train clanking down the tracks and was constantly out of balance no matter the size of the load. After repair, now the control panel died. I spent over 2 months and 27 phone calls to LG before they finally approved a return. Never again! They don't build a quality machine anymore, and the warranty process is a joke. Every time you call you get someone in the Phillipines, and some have a hard time understanding English. Delay, deny, drag it out, and they hope you'll give up!

Most the care issues are the same with all front loader washers. This wants you to dry the gasket, door and drum after every load. Monthly maintenance is required for best operation. Not hard, just tedious.
