I purchased this washer two years ago and did not have heavy use. The Bearing failed in the back of the washer and the shocks also failed. This is based on a factory trained repair person findings. I contacted LG and I was hoping at least a small Delta to purchase a new machine this was there reply. We are looking to purchase this washer but was wondering if anyone knows what tub clean mean along with downloading? Originally I didn't want a front load because it holds water in the front, Is that the case with this washer?

The washer and dryer perform well. The setting screen is extremely difficult to read. I have learned AFTER THE FACT, that the next model up has the setting screen lite up. Unhappy that the saleman did not point out this issue. I would have bought a model UP to get a screen that you can see.

I have owned several Washer/Dryer brands and this is my first and last LG. I have 4 kids and I’m a busy mom and I need a solid machine. I have owned the machine for a month and have had soooo many problems. The clothes come out dingy and faded, they come out dripping in water because they are not adequately spun (my machine has actually overflowed and flooded my laundry floor in less than a month). Tech came out and said use less laundry soap to stop leaking. Ok so now I use almost no soap, and my clothes smell!!!! 2 year old potty accidents come out smelling of pee pee still. I have 2 older boys and 2 babies. Uggg. Not good enough. Its super slow to wash AND after all that time it doesn’t clean. I really needed a high performing washer/dryer combo, this IS NOT it. I bought this machine based on so many solid reviews. I have no idea why anyone liked this machine. I never write reviews but this machine just doesn’t cut it.

The LCD panel is black with faint grey letters are not easy to read! When we purchased this washer we thought the panel would be backlit but it is not. We must use a bright light to read it.

We had just past the one year warranty when the washer started making a loud noise during the spin cycle. The noise got progressively louder to the point it sounded like a helicopter taking off in our laundry room. We called a repair company , the tech told us it's the bearings! We called LG and their response was to send us the phone numbers of local appliance repair places, no effort to resolve the fact a 900 dollar investment lasted just over a year!

this machine has broke down 4 times in the 4 5 years weve had it. worst machine ive ever had.

This machine is definitely shrinking our clothes on cold wash. I've reconfirmed that the lines were properly connected during installation - cold to cold and hot to hot. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what is going on but in the meantime we've ruined quite a few clothes. Disappointed.

Some of the clothing comes out dry due to very small amount of wayer.
