When they first arrived, we had our contractor hook them up and they forgot to remove the screws they were shipped with on the back of the washer and it started walking (literally lol). I was scared and thought that we'd have to go buy another set. But thank goodness Best Buy sent their guys over within 2 days to see what's going on. Once they removed the screws, it was bliss. Love my new machines. Can't stop soing laundry lol

The LG 4.5 cu. ft. HE Smart Front Load Washer with Steam and Motion Technology is an amazing washing machine. We have never had a front loading machine before, only top loaders. The LG has simple instructions, but has many options which are easy to see and choose from, including steam. It is a very high efficiency machine, uses very little HE detergent, little water and is very quiet. A really great washer.

Great washer, easy to use, extremely efficient, reg. wash cycles v. quiet. Spin dry very effective.

Just got this in December 2023. So far, its works well. I have done a few loads of laundry. It ran very quietly and performed well for a new washer. The ease of use was very high. Water use is minimal. My older LG washer was great also. But will see how it performs over the years.

Just purchased this washer and couldn't be happier. I reviewed Maytag, Whirlpool, and Electrolux - those were the brands that made my short list. I purchased the washer/dryer combo on 6/17 and it was delivered on 6/30. Delivery was 3 hours late but the team was professional, friendly, and fairly thorough. The washer is similar to my last LG - it is computerized to weigh the load, calculate the water level and then it sets the time. Most loads take approximately an hour to an hour and a half. I try to do full loads each time. The clothes are clean and spun very dry. Compared to the Fridgedaire I inherited with the home I bought, it is very quiet. Some other reviews state that it is kind of loud, I don't get that at all, it has the normal whistles and whirrs but its no big deal. Dry the gasket after every use and you'll eliminate any mold or odor. Both the washer and dryer had a nice signal at the end of their cycles.

Did a lot of research. It is quiet, spacious, cleans really well! Lots of options to clean! I don’t need to go to the laundry mat to wash my king size comforter.

Well, it very much like our 18-year-old LG Washer we replaced it with. So, it does a good job. However, the ThinQ tech is horrible! Just getting it connected to my iPhone was not easy. After hours of attempts and failures, using what LG supplied, I turned to YouTube. The second YouTube video got me past the IOS password issue, but the advanced support function does not work unless you register it. Here we go again, bad tech / instructions! To register it, it requires its serial number (which appears to contain a dash). No matter how entered, it would not except it! Discovered it had a scan bar code option, so I did... and guess what, it came back with it's not a valid serial number. So, I don't have the free advanced support, because I'm not going to spend more hours on something which should have taken no more than 15 minutes.

Quiet, efficient, and has lots of options! The app is helpful too. I like how it tells how many loads I've done and provides reminders on maintenance.

Easy to use. I drain the water line once a week, but never thought to clean the rubber gasket. I've had this washer for several years, and that thing is nasty. Seems easy enough to remove and clean. The only time I notice a funky smell is if I don't turn the laundry over and it sits in the machine with the door closed for too long. I prop the door open after every wash, but the gasket still has buildup so I'm going to start cleaning it more often.

Great machine. Really cleans the clothes and has so many options in settings. Fairly quiet too. Holds a lot and still gets everything clean. Also washed 2 down pillows together and worked very well

This washer has been performing well! It is very quiet as it goes through its cycles and has a very large capacity. Best Buy installed it in minimal time. Would highly reccommend it!

Hooked it up ourselves to replace old machine, and it was easy. Simple to operate, cleans very well, pretty quiet motor...of course we can hear the washer fill and swoosh around. The flat door takes no effort to close, and we like how the low profile does not protrude into the room. We are using "natural" detergent with no artifical fragrance, and our laundry is coming out smelling nice a clean! This family of 5 has loads of work & athletic clothes, and this machine is a huge time and energy saver!!

Had this machine 5 weeks and so far pleased with ease of use, clean clothes, ability to link with phone, quiet operation and cycle choices. Stacked with matching dryer. First LG appliance.

So far so good. Our last Samsung washer lasted 11 years and the matching dryer is still working. The new front load washer is a pretty good match with the dryer. We tried the steam wash that took about 2 hours. Easy to use. Be sure to dry the door and rubber seals after each wash and leave the door open so it will dry. We also bought the pedestal which is a good investment to store your soap. We also invested in an extended warranty which paid for a replacement refrigerator recently.

We bought this to replace another front loader that had a failed belt/motor and so far everything is good. Consumer reports had this rated highly so we were surprised to find it in stock. The capacity of the washer is amazing and we can fit more in for each load compared to our old washer. There are numerous different wash cycle options to meet our needs and it has done a great job on each different type of load. I am happy to say that there are no issues to report.

Had it for a few weeks. So far I am really loving it. I love how many items you can put in one load. I was able to wash a set of king sheets, a duvet cover, and a blanket all in one load! Machine is very quiet and clothes come out clean!

Great quiet washing machine. Cleans clothing well, also spin cycle takes out most water which allows to dry faster. Better than any Samsung device which is the worst. LG washers are best. Highly recommended

We have used our new washer for a month now and it is working just great. I bought it to replace our old LG washer that lasted more than 15 years. We do lots of laundry with our 2 boys and our old one never let us down. This new one is much quieter and does a great job at cleaning the clothes . We also love the steam function. I use that to clean my dress clothes for work. I do not do any dry cleaning.
