    I love the washer but the delivery was a nightmare..the y didn't have the correct hose so couldn't hook up and they ripped down my cable wire with their truck which left me without wifi/ internet for 3 days!

    4 years new to landfill

    Bought this machine in 2017 to match an LG dryer that a sales guy at Best Buy talked me into a few years earlier. I have had Maytag and Whirlpool in the past each of which lasted 10 years. The drainage pump blew out on this LG last week and apparently something is also wrong with the circuit board. Looking at $500 in repairs so time to get this machine which I never liked out of my house. The repair guy who came to the house had nothing but bad things to say about LG and Samsung. He says the vast majority of his calls are for these machines. They are cheaper than other machines and then everyone writes glowing reviews for brand new machines and not so many for the junk they quickly become. He recommends Speedqueen, Bosch, Electrolux and to a lesser extent Maytag and Whirlpool. Also top loading machines last much longer than front loading. I feel bad that I am adding junk to the landfill but likely face a future of ongoing expensive repairs. I am a mechanical engineer. 4 years for a pump to wear out? Inexcusable. If you have good luck with old brands, stick with them and don't listen to sales guys.

    Terrible installation by Best Buy and Zero support

    I purchased this dryer along with its matching washer. The appliance itself works well and as expected. My mistake was to elect for Best Buy to perform the installation. One of the benefit of this dryer is that it is ventless. As a result it can be installed in a location without an outside vent. The water extracted from the clothes finds its way into a built in reservoir tray that must be emptied after each use or optionally into the house drain. I asked the installer to install the optional drain hose. The installation instructions contemplate that a plug be in the back of the washer be moved from one end of a T connection to the other in ordre to evacuate the water into the house drain. Instead the installer who did not care to read the instructions removed the plug and threw it away. The result is that my dryer now drains into BOTH the reservoir and the house drain, in other words the worse of both worlds. Its been a month now that I have called both best buy, LG and their US parts representative to order the missing plug, a part that probably costs les that a dollar. The phone system of all these entities is infuriating, it forces you to provide a ton of information to a machine, often having to repeat yourself to eventually end up with a human being on the phone. That person is not adequately trained to provide detailed support and after countless phone calls I still don't have a part number nor an ordre in place to get the missing plug. My advice if you buy this appliance is read the manual and connect it yourself, the Best Buy installers are not only rude but also careless. If god forbids you need simple support for repair of parts, expect to spend hours on the phone being towed back and forth between Best Buy, LG and their US parts outfit. This is a perfectly good appliance but Best Buy messed up my install and I can't get them to make it right.

    Just Don't

    It is bad enough that this thing will only wash my clothes on BOIL, but I have spent three separate days waiting at home for service and it still has not been repaired. One day was no show, the next time a nice guy showed up and said he would order parts, then today while stuck at home from 8am to 5pm, I just got a call at 2:22pm advising that the parts have not arrived. We are not even positive that these parts (hot and cold water valves) will fix this machine. I am upset by the complete disregard for my time and the horrible customer service from LG and Sears Home repair. Your app sucks, you can not speak to a human and I no longer want to deal with this lousy washing machine!!! Is there anyone who gives a crap? Doubtful

    Garbage

    It smells terrible and I’ve took great care of it. I dont use but a small amount of all fragrance free detergent in it. I live in the desert so it shouldn’t have humidity issues. The smell is so bad like rotten eggs. Wasted money on this big time.

    Good washer machine for cleaning and efficiency. However, after only 3 years, now making very loud noises. Have to call a repair man to fix it. Expensive. Also, difficult to keep mold and mildew smell away.

    A washer without a closing door is not a washer

    This machine would probably be great if I could get the washer door to close. The repair person who came out right after we purchased it said it was probably the rubber gasket that was preventing the door from closing and then said if it keeps it up call him back. Really! Why not fix it? So now we have to get them out again and I will need to take more time off work.

    LG does not honor warranty

    Our washing machine broke after 3 years. The technician said the problem was the motor, which is under warranty for 10 years (it's literally written on the front of the machine). LG has been horrible to deal with. Their reps gave incorrect information about how to get the part three times and then the company did not send the part. It has been over a month and the company has not taken ANY action. Do not buy LG products. Go with any other brand.

    Noisy

    This washer was a huge disappointment. I purchased it to replace a 15+ year old LG and this new washer was louder than the old one that the bearings were shot on. I went with the LG brand because of the good experience with my old washer. Even with the door shut in the laundry room you couldn't hear yourself think. I tried 3 different washers thinking I just had a defective one before switching it out for a different brand altogether. I would not recommend this washer at all. It looks nice, but is so noisy.

    Poor quality

    Bought LG Model WM3700HVA washer in September 2020. 2 years and 3 months later, a repair costing about $700 is needed (bearing for drum needs replacement). Of course LG will not help. A major appliance should last much longer for the price paid -- a $50 coffee maker should not last longer than a $1,000 washer. Beware of any company that makes a product that fails so soon (household of 2, so machine was not used extensively).

    TERRIBLE! If you love having your clothes smell like mildew and dirt then this is the washer for you. Front load washers are as efficient as washing your clothes in your local sewage Facility. Have to cycle with bleach every 4 loads due water that gets left in gasket on front load washers and “smart is the new dumb” 3 hours to wash a load is absurd!

    Been backordered for 6 months and Bestbuy delivery team postponed twice in the last two months a day before delivery! They were not transparent during this whole process and already delivered LG dryer - now I am stuck waiting for any LG washer with the same color to become available.

    Shipping Issue

    I am hoping to update this review once I actually receive the item. I ordered 2 weeks ago and still have yet to get even a timeline from customer service of when it will be available for delivery. It showed as an in stock item at the time of purchase. Extremely disappointed in Best Buy's inventory system for online purchases.

    Worst Experience EVER

    I paid for installation which the guys refused to do. They didn't even take the packaging off. We could do that part. We can't get the machine to level properly so that it doesn't run across the room during the spin cycle. I can't get Best Buy to even recognize the order number and I can't get another appliance repair company to help because the unit is still under warranty. This is awful.

    Dont buy!! After 20 months of using it for at least 3 times a week, the drum weight broke. I been using it as directed by the manufacturer book and now I need to replace parts. Get something else.
