This is my third front loader so I’ll compare to my Kenmore (2004) and Maytag (2013). The LG has outstanding anti vibration technology- a plus for a second floor laundry! It isn’t as gentle on the clothes as my Maytag and Kenmore (made by Bosch then). A load will come out twisted together even if loaded carefully and properly. The LG is above our family room and I will say it is LOUD. It sounds like a car reving up and our biggest disappointment. The controls are overly complicated for what a consumer requires. I will never use 12 cycles! In my opinion it is pure marketing and the controls could be simplified to be more consumer friendly. Lastly, the “tub clean” instructions say to open the panel on the bottom front of the washer to check the filter. I’ve done this twice-a nice feature however, be prepared for a gush of water. Our washer is in a curbed shower like basin we had custom built with a drain so it’s no problem. But, if you aren’t prepared with a towel or drain it could cause a potential problem. So far I’m satisfied but, it’s not my favorite appliance. I do LOVE the WiFi notifications that my laundry is done! The LG app is very convenient and keeps me from wondering how much cycle time is left. Great feature if your laundry is on another level of the house.

This washer is big and deep. I can put a load in with a twin blanket or queen/king blanket + some clothes. It’s quiet but not too quiet. One thing to note is how heavy it is.

Our first LG Steam Washer lasted 16 years! Naturally we replaced it with another LG. So far it doesn’t disappoint. It’s basically the modern version of our first washer. It fits nicely under our laundry counter. It’s quiet, it looks sharp, it offers numerous wash cycle options and it cleans really well. I highly recommend this washing machine.

This washer is so quiet! I have it on the main floor of our home and it doesn’t shake the house. I like the WiFi features (which I didn’t think I needed) but I love how it sends me notifications when it’s completed. I keep the door open to allow it to dry so it won’t produce mold and mildew like front load washers are known for.

Loving our new LG washer & dryer set made a mistake of trying to go cheaper with Samsung and got the reality check of you get what you pay for, learned from that mistake never again! These are awesome

Easy to use installation is also very easy. Easy Control from app and different wash setting and send you messages when cycle ends

So far I am very pleased with the washer and dryer . I do have a question about the washer. Specifically the door itself. When it is open, it opens wide and continues to open even more and then hits the glass in my house door that goes outside. Is there an adjustment to stop the door at certain stage. This seems unnecessary and I don't want to damage my door. Please advise. Thank you.

I’ve been using for a little over a month now and really the only reason I purchased this washer is because my old one was this same LG model from 15 years ago and it matched my old dryer which didn’t go out and I was able to use this pedestal. I am a senior 71 years old and my washer & dryer are located in my basement.in the past I was running up and down the stairs to put the clothes in the dryer. I’ve downloaded the app and now I no longer need to run downstairs until my app tells when the washer has stopped. I’m considering purchasing the matching dryer even though it still works. I’m very happy with this purchase and I’ve received my energy efficiency rebate that I applied to the purchase. One thing that really impressed me is we had a real cold day and I got a message that my hot & cold water was not hooked up correctly but I had used it for over 3 weeks and wondered why I was just getting the message. The next day when it warmed up the message was gone. So I assume now if something is wrong I’ll get a message.

Brought this washer to replaced 10 years old Samsung washer. Excellent machine with app notifications. Also got matching pedestal. Kind of expensive for pedestal just to raise the washer higher level. Did I mention LG supposed more reliable than Samsung? That came from a washer and dryer repair guy. I called him because my Samsung all of sudden stop in the middle of spin cycle and smoke and burning smell came out of the drum. He suggested get a new one and recommended LG only. He seen a lot of other brand. He could have taken my call for anther repair job. But he honestly recommended LG for my next new washer.

This washer is amazing. It has a large capacity capable of washing large loads and is very quiet.

Good product. It's been 1 year. Really efficient and quiet. You can easily manage all cycles from phone and even customize the wash cycles. If you have other LG devices like TV, it will be notified on that device. But, once it's OFF, you need to manually power ON. Also, the app capabilities like "remote start" can be used only after enabling it on the machine manually. You can turn it OFF using phone or Usig smart assistants like Google or Alexa with voice

Installation from Best Buy team was quick and efficient. The Washer operates powerfully and has so many useful options. Its also very quiet and somewhat intuitive in its control panel choices. 100% happy with the price to performance ratio.

This is the highest rated washer by LG. It doesnt have all the fancy options that the newer models do but it does a good job. It is a high efficiency machine so it takes double the time it takes to do a load compared to my 15 yr old Kenmore Elite. It does not have AI features and lacks auto dispenser. This model qualifies for rebate from your utility company.

Delivery and installation went great! The washer is doing a good job. I love the alerts to my phone and Amazon devices when it is complete. I just need to learn how to set, if it's possible, my custom default wash cycle. Meanwhile, I manually switch it each time which is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

So far so good. We were in need of a washer/dryer since our apartment we just moved into didn’t have any that we could rent. We’re definitely happy with the investment. I don’t know if it’s just me but our clothes smells so much better with this front load washer compared to our last one, which was a top load. Love the LG brand, and the tempered glass on these things are quite nice.

picked this one up after researching and reading other reviews on various websites. Very sleek looking an strong build machine. the 4.5Cu.Ft. load makes it very useful for a large load and super efficient with lower sized loads as well. many customizable settings via the LG app allows you to tailor the machine to your every need. To note that you must use liquid detergent as it will not work well with pods or powder detergents.

Great washer! I have it since December, 2023 ( about 6 month) so far everything is good. Its not loud, I like the fact that if you don't have a full load and you choose normal wash cycle LG washer adjusts the time of the cycle based on the weight of the load. Also, the app is great. I have connected it myself. Truly recommend.

Washer is easy to use and does the job for any washing needs. Does a swift job and can be noisy at times.
