performs well but clearly it is not as solid and won't last nearly as long as my Maytag that preceded it.

Great washing machine. It has many features that make doing laundry easier.

The washer has different useful wash options. Very quiet operation. However controls are not easy to manipulate if change neded. Also, although the machine is dried after each wash it still acquired a musty odor.

First front load washer. Not sure why we took so long. Much easier to use.

I love it! It washes well and matches with my dryer. I was really satisfied with the services. I ordered it online and then received email confirmation. Shortly after picked up the LG washer from Kapolei warehouse. Great customer service all around.

So far Ive only had this washer for a month. Ive always used Ge appliances but for some reason the washer has given me so many problems while owning it so I decided to go with a new brand and the LG had really good ratings. So far I'm not disappointed. It's quiet and the clothes come out clean so when my dryer goes Im buying the Lg matching one.

I always used a washing machine like this in Europe. I finally bought one in America! Once you've done your laundry in one of these washer you will never want to do laundry in a top-loading washer again

I love this washer (and matching dryer), except for 1 thing: You can't modify the wash (or dry) settings with your own preferences. For example, if you want to always use TAP COLD for a load, you MUST ALWAYS change the temp manually. For such an expensive appliance that has internet, downloadable cycles, and an app, it's mind boggling that I can't modify and save a setting to be reused.

This washer is amazing. It has settings for every type of fabric you would want to machine wash. It is also water efficient. It's so quiet you wouldn't know it was running unless you looked

Was excited to get this, as I loved my previous LG Front Load Washer. Unfortunately, this one has a STRONG chemical odor. It smells like a combination of chlorine and solvent. I ran a Tub Clean cycle with a tub cleaner, no change. Followed the manufacturer's instructions for dealing with the smell, no change. I tried to wash a load of towels, and now the towels have such a strong chemical smell that we can't use them. Ran 10 hot washes, thinking that would get it out, and not only is the smell stronger, it has now spread throughout my home. I work from home, and am having problems with headaches and dizzy smells due to the odor. We've also had to stay in our guest room because the washer is close enough to the main bedroom that the bedroom is currently uninhabitable due to the fumes. No choice but to return it as soon as possible as it's literally making us sick. I reached out to LG, and was told this is just "new washer" smell, and that it will fade after a few washes. But that is not happening, and the smell seems to be getting worse, not better. I wish I had checked out a model on the sales floor prior to purchasing, as that would have immediately alerted me to this issue. It might be okay in a larger house where the laundry room is very far away from living room, bedroom, etc., or in a home with people who don't mind strong chemical smells. Best Buy did respond that we could exchange it within 15 days - glad they stand by their customer experience in this way.

Easy to use washer with convenient display. Love being able to connect to the LG app. Washes clothes effectively.

Haven't used the washer yet as the drain pipe is too short. I replaced a Kenmore that had a long enough pipe. Don't know why LG's is so short. I have to get a pipe extender. I also bought a dryer. The install wasn't worth it. I was upcharged $130 for water hammer devices. No mention needing them by Best Buy. They also only put them on the washer and not on the dryer. The install was them just getting it done as quickly as possible without any care to quality. All the hoses are twisted where they could have been installed neatly. One of them pretty badly. I would have never left it like that. The dryer vent pipe was taped on. I used screws on the previous dryer. So after paying a bunch of money for the install, I'll have to fix it up.

We are very happy with our LG washer & dryer. It has only been about 4 weeks but we are confident that they are great products.
