The washer wouldn't dispence fabrics softener from the first day it was installed which I thought may be user error even though I have had two other sets dating back to 2012. The dryer just started making a vibration noise. After over an hour and a half dealing with LG tech support they tried convincing me it sounds normal. Then why did the noise just start and why have my other units never sounded like this? They said I would be charged for them to repair my two month old unit that is under warrant. Would not recommend buying LG anymore! Clearly they are now making trash like most of the manufacturers out there and they don't want to warranty their issues

My only criticism is if you have a specific way you like to run your cycles, you have to set specific parameters each time, but when I've used the preset settings the clothes have always come out smelling really fresh and not over- or under-washed.

As with all of our cleaning devices there is a bit more load put on them than a usual situation, five German Shepherds. So with a much larger volume of dirt and hair there's a larger need for quality workmanship and durability. This does keep up without any issues. Out doing the previous Kenmore by many standards...

Appears to have solid mechanicals. Operation is quiet and effective. Like the ThinQ enunciation of cycle completion. In general we have been fans of LG appliances (compared to other manufacturers) ... expect that to continue here.
