To get the energy star status, the wash water level does not reach the tube and the circulating pump stops after about 1/4 of wash time, not total time. On the sanitize cycle, the circulate pump stop pumping for the last 50 minutes or more of the wash time (1:50 total time left). When the circulate pump is ON, it squirts the soapy water for merely a second on cloths near the door. Resulting the soapy water does not get on the cloths. That's why most washers on the market have option of 2 or more extra rinse cycles to rinse to soap. The old 3.7 CF machine performs better. It's too early to rate the quality of the washer. 3 stars rating is based on the experience with the previous 2 LG washers. I rarely write a review and never rush to write a review after purchase like this item.

BEWARE!!! AWFUL INSTALLATION

I had to get a plumber to replace it. Worse yet, the Best Buy installer mixed up the hoses, and switched cold for hot, which shrunk all my kids clothes and felted my favorite woolens. I filed a claim, and months later hear back it's denied because they "never installed my machine, only dropped it off"-- a blatant lie. I filed another claim, and now it's almost 3 months later and it's still unresolved. I'm so regretting purchasing from here instead of my reliable local appliance store. Still hoping this will be resolved, or I won't trust this place again.

Pretty good machine from LG
