Love Love my product i would recommend to all customers

I am having a terrible experience with my brand new LG washer. The solvent smell is overwhelming. LG told me this is the "new car" smell and it will dissipate if I do 10 washes. I ran it for 18 washes, and measured the VOCs at 1,981, which is almost 5 times the normal limit. The appliance salesman told me that this happens in 1 out of 100 LG machines and they have to send them back to LG. The salesman said that LG is aware of the issue and they have recently changed their production process. I get dizzy and headaches from the fumes. I am concerned about my health and the health of my family. I have had this machine for 24 days and the solvent fumes have permeated the house.

Washer was easy to set up and level. It is doing an excellent job getting our clothes clean.

So far Ive only had this washer for a month. Ive always used Ge appliances but for some reason the washer has given me so many problems while owning it so I decided to go with a new brand and the LG had really good ratings. So far I'm not disappointed. It's quiet and the clothes come out clean so when my dryer goes Im buying the Lg matching one.

Had the older version and loved it. Upgraded to the newer version.

Very pleased with this washer. We replaced a 4 year old HE LG top loader with this model. Front loaders are way better than top loaders for water use and avoiding imbalanced loads. It is very water efficient, and most importantly, it is quiet! No more clonking and banging due to imbalance issues! The Turbo Wash feature saves time for most loads cutting run time almost in half.

Pretty good washer, get the clothes clean for sure and many different settings. However, it's pretty low down so requires a lot of bending over to load and unload. I would recommend getting it set up on something. A little loud if you're sensitive to sounds (as in when the water flows in and then is shut off, not the actual machine washing).

Absolutely love this washer!! We got this to replace our 10yr old LG washer & love the new features & love that it still allows us to stack our old dryer on top!!

Excellent product. works very good and very quiet. I will not hesitate to recommend to my friends and family members. The service at best buy was also excellent including the installation.

This washer is amazing. It has settings for every type of fabric you would want to machine wash. It is also water efficient. It's so quiet you wouldn't know it was running unless you looked

Not happy with this washing machine: I don’t I don’t understand how this washer machine got high rating with consumer report and other online website when I search for it here’s my issue. About a year and a half the glass door broke out of blue. I had to deal with LG directly and eventually they accepted to replace it. I have no idea what caused the door to break the way it did. No new issue with the drain tube where it hold soap and doesn’t drain well I tried several detergent cleaning and all the tips from the website, but nothing seem to work so far, Internal robber got moldy I clean it every week, but nothing seem to help preventing this built-up mold, which seem to be consistent, I do run self cleaning cycle once a week to help producing the smell of the washing machine. Those are my few issues with it so far and I’m still not able to figure it out all this issues coming from my previous worship machine was uploading and it works for 10 years and the only reason I replaced it because the cost for fixing it was exceeding the cost of replaced, now I’m regretting getting LG and I wish if I got that Brand

Excellent washing machine. Easy to use, does a good job, many different settings available for different types of clothes.

Was excited to get this, as I loved my previous LG Front Load Washer. Unfortunately, this one has a STRONG chemical odor. It smells like a combination of chlorine and solvent. I ran a Tub Clean cycle with a tub cleaner, no change. Followed the manufacturer's instructions for dealing with the smell, no change. I tried to wash a load of towels, and now the towels have such a strong chemical smell that we can't use them. Ran 10 hot washes, thinking that would get it out, and not only is the smell stronger, it has now spread throughout my home. I work from home, and am having problems with headaches and dizzy smells due to the odor. We've also had to stay in our guest room because the washer is close enough to the main bedroom that the bedroom is currently uninhabitable due to the fumes. No choice but to return it as soon as possible as it's literally making us sick. I reached out to LG, and was told this is just "new washer" smell, and that it will fade after a few washes. But that is not happening, and the smell seems to be getting worse, not better. I wish I had checked out a model on the sales floor prior to purchasing, as that would have immediately alerted me to this issue. It might be okay in a larger house where the laundry room is very far away from living room, bedroom, etc., or in a home with people who don't mind strong chemical smells. Best Buy did respond that we could exchange it within 15 days - glad they stand by their customer experience in this way.
