This replaced a 30 yr old washer and the difference is night and day. i never realized that my clean clothes from the old tub washer smelled until I started washing in the new washer. Best Buy customer service and installation teams are top notch. We bought what we thought was side by side set but turned out to be stacked. Customer service refunded the wrong equipment, and our new units were in 2 days later.

Don’t buy, save yourself a headache!

Could fit a lot of stuff in them and seemed to wash well. However, within 2.5 years they have both had to be serviced and the washer ring has mold that just won’t go away. These weren’t cheap and of course everything is past the date for return/replace/repair. I’ve seen others who are selling them on FB marketplace bc of similar issues. Don’t buy!

It lasted us not even 3 years, and now it is giving us an error code and won't drain properly. My husband has tried troubleshooting it, and the cost to repair it is over half the price of just buying a new washer. It is sad that things aren't built to last these days. We take good care of our stuff, too. We bought all new appliances at the same time,e and every single one of them has had issues so I guess I don't recommend LG at all.

However controls are not easy to manipulate if change neded. Also, although the machine is dried after each wash it still acquired a musty odor.
