    My clothes shrunk

    Its cool and all nice design but whenever you choose a sensor dry setting they dont let you change the heat temperature so on a normal setting my clothes were dried with too much heat. Now i have to do a timed dry just to change the heat temperature. If the AI is supposed to sense when my clothes are dry WHY DID MY CLOTHES SHRINK!

The sensor dry cycles automatically adjust drying time based on moisture levels, but heat settings are preset for optimal performance. For more control, we recommend using Low or ultra-low heat settings under Timed Dry or selecting the Delicates cycle, which uses gentler heat.     Works well, crappy controls

    This is my second set of LG washer/driers. I’ve owned this, and the drier, for about six months. It works fine and isn’t too noisy, but the controls are just about illegible. Since LG apparently had no better idea on how to jazz up the machine, they decided to make the control panel about as low-contrast as possible. Little lights on the control panel indicate washing and drying functions, but try to read the label that accomplices each little light. My LG microwave oven controls are just the same. If I had paid attention to what I experienced with the microwave, I would have bought different washer/driers.

    Faulty Product

    LG washers front loader and top loaders have a huge problem with a particular part that goes bad after a certain time. LG shows no intentions in fixing this problem. This was told to me by a certified LG technician. Please stay away from there washer machines unless you want it replaced in a couple of years because of this problem.

    VERY LOUD!

    VERY LOUD! BEWARE! I just purchased this washing machine because it was rated #1 by both Consumer Reports and Wirecutter. Reviews said it was quiet. I immediately had Best Buy come out to make sure they installed it correctly or to see if I had a lemon. BB repairman said that this is how loud all of them are and I could switch to the Samsung. Samsung has incredibly long wash times. So I will have the LOUDEST washing machine I’ve ever had (almost 60 yo) for the next ten years.

    Leaks from door and I'm now getting the runaround

    Leaks from door when using Clean cycle, Gentle or Bedding cycles. Two repairs have been made: new seal and a new door and it still leaks. Although this is a new machine and I have Geek Squad coverage I'm now getting the runaround.

    Do not purchase

    Do not purchase this washer. I purchased in 2021 and it has been continuously malfunctioning since purchase. There have been continuous leaks, requiring replacement of multiple parts, now a leak has developed causing the motor to fail, causing sparks, tripping my circuit breaker, and making the unit unsafe per the latest repair technician. My unit has been out of use for over 2 months because the warranty company has failed to fix the issue. I am waiting for another technician to deem the unit irredeemable to either get a new, but the Lg technician has already canceled twice on this appointment. If this does not get resolved, we are way past it getting resolved in a timely manner, I will have no choice but to search for a possible class action lawyer.

    Broken too soon

    I purchased this washing machine over 2 years ago. The latch on the door broke and I can no longer close the door. I paid over a thousand dollars for this washing machine. I got an estimate to fix this and the repair would be close to $700, almost the price of a new washing machine. I am very upset with this purchase.

    Out of box Washer

    The washer I bought was an out of box in excellent condition, which means no dents or scratches. When I got it home I found a dent that wasn't obvious in the store. It should not have been marked excellent condition.

    Washing machine

    Water gets trapped at the seal at the bottom. You have to make sure the drain hole is clear and remember to dry it with a towel so it won’t get moldy. The bleach dispenser never seems to dispense, so I guess I’ll have to call about that.

    Catastrophic Failure of unit in 3 years.

    Model #WF45M5500AP/A5 Purchased from Best Buy end of 2018. After 3 years of retired single person in household use, the unit catastrophically failed. Drum replacement. Cost to fix is 125% of purchase price. Certified Samsung repair company Asurion no showed 3 appointments before arriving and concluding in 10 minutes that price to fix. Sent 3 emails and one snail mail letter to Samsung in the States and overseas. Would YOU expect a low use washer to last more than 3 years?

    Horrible Controls

    The controls are the most un-intuitive ever and the settings are hard to read. To make it work you have to use a phone app!! Cumbersome and annoying and time wasting. This machine is the worst I have ever used because of the terrible user interface. It has me wishing for a river and big rocks for washing! Regret this purchase.
