Great capacity and very sleek looking! So far I really like this washer and it’s large capacity can’t wait to try my king comforter in it

Love this washing machine! When the last frontload washer kicked the bucket we really didn't want to get another one. But the repairman said they seem to last longer than top load washers, then he recommended LG. So glad we listened to him.
This machine is quiet, and gets the job done in minimal time.

I got tired of my top loader washing machine, rated as a water conservation device (it basically did a poor job of cleaning my clothes, and often times damaged by thin work out shirts), so I found this at the Best Buy store in Honolulu. It was an open box demo, so I got it a little cheaper than normal. Thus far I have loved this thing. its' high tech, cleans my clothes very quickly, has a separate cycle for towels, bedding, and whites. And it conserves water without damaging my thin, delicate clothes. Love it.

This washer is easy to use and offers plenty of settings and options for different types of laundry. It holds large loads easily. And it is quiet when running.

This is top notch. Open the door and all you see is stainless. Clothes come out very clean. It has all the options in you could possibly need. Great service at Best Buy, as they brought it out to the truck and put it in for me. Win/Win!

I owned the washer and dryer pair for a week or so. I had to return it because it was too big for my space, too low for me (I’m 5’9) and not ideal for a home with a tiny human who likes to spin knobs.
I did like the look of the washer and the different cycles. Just wasn’t ideal for me and my family.
I did not like the fact that I needed to buy another piece to the washer and dryer set to make it taller to accommodate my height. And each piece was $250. Not okay! Especially when the average height of a person is between 5’4 and 5’9. I don’t understand why they cannot build a set that accommodates tall people.

We've had the set for a month now and we have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BAD to say about the washer or matching dryer.
We've had Kenmore appliances for the last 15 years (2 sets of W & D) and we had very little issues with them. So since LG makes Kenmore this was a natural upgrade. All our tvs and sound bars are LG so when we connected the new W & D to our phones via the LG Thin Q app we were suprised when the end of a wash or dry was completed it was announced on the television screen as well as our phones.

Happy with the product. Wanted to give a special shout out to Nicholas, Anthony, Will, and Christine from the Geek Squad. Their set up of the Washer, Dryer, and pedestals was to notch. They made it easy to use and care for.

Zero problems so far. Doesn’t make a peep. Clothes seem clean. Dispensers work well. Get a bottom for it to get some height, or mount it higher, as the dial is a little difficult to read from an angle. I unfortunately thought it would fit my old pedestal but it didn’t.

Very quiet machine. Gets everything clean while using a minimum amount of soap and water. The high-speed spin cycle does an excellent job getting the water out of the clothes. It takes less time to dry them.

Washer does a great job. Quality build. Quiet operation. Much more quiet than our Maytag front loader that died after 4.5 years. First LG brand appliance. We like it!

Not impressed with so-called high efficiency technology. I have had this machine for over a year. I had no desire to have a 'smart' machine so never hooked up the wireless. The washer itself does not work as well as the 15 year old LG it replaced. It does not have a hand wash cycle, but does include the ability to wash without spinning, or to run a short rinse and spin cycle. It has a 'turbo' wash function, for which I cannot find a definition anywhere. The only thing I have noticed is that it shortens the cycle and the clothes don't seem to get as clean. It can be disabled for some cycles, but not for others. I have problems using powdered detergent as it doesn't dissolve well - even in warm water. There's just not enough water in the tub. There is also not enough to use it to soak clothing prior to washing - I now have to do that outside the washer. The wash cycle for delicate clothing is much rougher than before, so I cannot wash underwire bras or some sweaters and now have to do them by hand. I find that things do not smell clean unless I run a pre-wash, then multiple rinses are required to remove the detergent. I suspect I am using more water than before because of these additional cycles.
The compartment for adding detergent and bleach/softener is poorly designed in my estimation. There is a piece that actually has to be removed to use powdered detergent, and the pre-wash section lets liquid detergent leak all over prior to starting the machine. It is not all washed away when the machine starts, either - I had to remove the compartment and clean the sticky soap residue both times I tried it. So I have gone to placing the detergent directly in the drum. The construction of the compartment also causes it to hold a lot of water, so I have to leave it open until it dries to prevent mold.
The controls themselves, where selections are made for the wash cycle, also leave something to be desired. There is faint writing on the inside of the plastic, which is then backlit from inside, making it very difficult to read, especially as my basement is not well lit. It's good enough to not send back, but nothing to write home about.
The instruction manual tells you to lie clothing flat in the drum and stack it. Since when is that needed?? In my prior machine I could just stuff it full and it worked. With the new one, if I fill it to capacity, or just wad clothes up and toss them in, nothing gets clean. I will likely look at other brands when it comes time for a new one if this one is not completely redesigned by then.
So longer wash time, smaller (more) loads and not necessarily as clean when compared with the old one. I c
