Not much different from our 15-year old Maytag that died. Not convinced it is worth the extra cost for a "fancy" machine. Also, it emits a VERY strong rubber odor (from the door seal); it will affect the smell of the room in which you install it.

Overall, I like it, but I think some of the settings are confusing. I’m disappointed it doesn’t have an interior drum light. It has WiFi, but no light?! It washes pretty well though, so I’m pleased.

It had started making a lot on noise during the spin cycle (bearing?) so we decided to get a new one (WM4000HWA). Good communication before and during removal of old washer and installation of new one. It has a few more bells and whistles than our old one and works well so far. If it lasts as long as the old one, we will be happy campers.

I could not be happier with this washer and won't be going back to top load any time soon. Great washer, works well, uses very little water, and fast.

Mostly about BB delivery and pickup services (which just ghosted us after waiting a week), but the washing machine itself doesn't operate as one would expect after spending nearly a thousand dollars on a clothes-washing-machine. PASS! It smells like burned rubber every time it's opened. It leaks from the front while it's running. I've been a BB customer for over 15 years. I've paid for their extra coverage every single year. The support I've gotten for this device just shows me how important it is to avoid giving money to these corporate giants. They don't give a crap about your experience, money spent, etc., as long as the check clears. Spend an extra $100 and buy from a local store!

To address the leakage and odor with your WM4000HBA, please follow these troubleshooting steps: Front Leakage: Check the door glass and gray rubber gasket for hair, lint, or debris, as even small items can compromise the watertight seal. Regularly wipe the gasket and inspect for punctures or tears.
Burned Rubber Smell: This may happen if shipping bolts are not fully removed, causing the drum to rub against them during spins. Confirm that all four bolts and plastic spacers are removed. Also, ensure the machine is level, as an unbalanced drum can cause excessive gasket rubbing against the door, leading to friction and a rubber smell.
