About 8 years ago I had an LG top load washer and I hated it, absolutely hated it. The sales guy convinced me to give LG another shot but this time go Front Load and I've been happy and impressed with this machine so far. Clothes come out smelling great. This machine can handle blankets too.

Love this amazing washer. It literally does everything but load and unload itself. Smarter than my 11 year old and works 4 times harder. Is fast, almost silent and looks like a jet. I’m also amazed at the price I got it for. Open box was like $400 bucks cheaper and the thing was still wrapped in plastic from the manufacturer. Win win all day long.

I’m not crazy about this washer.
I had a Samsung for 10 years and really wanted another Samsung but the detergent dispenser drawer on the Samsung is poorly designed. I went with the LG based on reviews. The first LG(different model than this one) leaked after the first week. So far no leaks or mechanical issues with this unit.
The cycles on this washer are confusing and not user friendly. It’s hard to judge which cycle is selected by the light on the dial unless you have on a pedestal and closer to eye level. The turbo wash doesn’t do a great job at cleaning large loads and in fact sometimes don’t smell clean after the “Normal Cycle”. I also feel like the tub is smaller than on the Samsung although they are supposed to be the same capacity. Probably not a big deal to most, but this washer (and dryer) defaults to the normal cycle when turned on and not to the previous cycle used. Something I got used to on my old machine.

I love this machine. I was worried with the reviews of it being loud because we have main floor laundry and they are very quite. We have 5 dogs and these machines are beasts and getting all the fur out of things. We have had them for almost two months so far and have zero complaints! Highly recommend!

Large drum fits a queen quilt. Uses very little water but clothes seem to get clean. Normal cycle defaults to turbo mode and washes in 35 minutes. Drying the rubber gasket around the door to prevent mold is a hassle.

My last LG washer never gave us issues, and lasted over 14 years with no issues. It stopped working abruptly, so we wanted to stick with the same brand. Great choice!!

Nice washer. Performs really well. The only problem I have noticed is that the tide pods do not dissolve completely in the dispenser tray. Should work perfectly with either liquid or dry detergents.

First - I missed the fact can only rinse in cold water, there are times I wouldn’t want that.
Second - the spin is so high that I literally have to peel my clothes off the interior wall and then they are so horribly wrinkled I have to iron almost everything ! I keep reducing the level of spin but it doesn’t help. I have never had this problem with any other machine. Makes me wonder if when I use the prewash - do the clothes come off the interior wall and get a good regular wash.
Third - I am not convinced that the main wash detergent doesn’t flow in to the washer at the same time as the prewash detergent.

Your salesperson at oak park was really knowledgeable, so i ordered this washer and dryer set. it didnt include the stackable piece because it was on back order, but now we are happy without the stacking anyway.
