No funky smell yet, though I leave the door open between washes. I'll do a cleaning cycle with bleach when I get to 1 month. One time it kept spinning a blanket forever trying to get it dry enough. I got impatient and just threw it in the dryer and it dried fine. But it never happened again even with the same blanket.

The only complaint is having to make sure the inside around door is supposed to be dried manually to prevent mold. However, I believe I have solved this by leaving the door open to air dry. I have used many settings and am pleased with the results.

Overall, I like it, but I think some of the settings are confusing. I’m disappointed it doesn’t have an interior drum light. It has WiFi, but no light?! It washes pretty well though, so I’m pleased.

Also, not easy to read the buttons for the cycles. Clothes are sometimes soaked after a wash. My older model was better.

The first one lasted 15 years and never had any problems. The new washer has the same features as my old one and the loads wash faster. We've only had it for a month. I hope it will last another 15 years!
