I wanted a higher capacity washer that looked nice, had nice features, and performed well. This washer is amazing. It was super heavy and a pain in the @ to get it on the pedestal, it took so many hoses to get it hooked up with the washer pedestal and the matching steam gas dryer, but it was Soooooo worth it. The steam function is legit. I've never smelled laundry so fresh, and it does a phenomenal job at draining excess water. My old washer would have so much excess water left in bedding and towels, but it's night and day compared to this dream. It's super quiet and I love the LG Thinq app integration. They are not kidding when they state that this is a high efficiency machine because it uses so little water that I was skeptical about it's performance. The laundry comes out so clean that I'm almost in disbelief. I have always felt that doing laundry was a daunting task, but this machine is a breath of fresh air. I realize now that I have been living a lie before I knew this glorious machine existed.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this particular model washer. Based on all that I could find, it had the most features for the price. I know many people despise their front load washers, but we really like the performance and capacity of this washer compared to our last top-load Fisher Paykel. (Our last washer lasted 11 years with very minimal maintenance.) I hope to achieve something close with this unit, but only time will tell. What do we like: - Capacity (King Sized Comforter) - Performance (Cleanliness and Gentle on the Clothes) - Wash Options - Ease of Use - Environmentally Friendly (Power and Water Usage) Cons: - None Yet

I Love My LG Washer! This LG front load washer is a wonderful machine! My last LG washer lasted 10 years and of course with everything, it had to be replaced. I couldn't be happier! This is such a quiet machine. It has a very large capacity - 4.5 cu ft. It has so many different features, including a turbo wash, sanitize, steam, which if you have any children with asthma will appreciate these features! It also has a delay start, lock, and is Wi-Fi ready. Hey Google... The tub is made of quality stainless steel. The washer is stackable with the matching dryer,( which I also purchased, I mean who doesn't want a matching set) or can be set upon the sidekick pedestal washer. That gives a mini washer option that can wash simultaneously with this large washer. The machines are pretty quiet considering two washes going at one time. I purchased the Black Steel and it is beautiful. LG really does make great appliances! Pros: Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, High Quality, Lots of Features, Sturdy, Stylish

Very quiet, doesn't cause floor to vibrate. Wifi works. Big capacity, lots of options. Small socks get caught in wide lip. Need to use bag for small items. Old smaller kenmore front loader never had that problem. Small opening on front bottom for clean out is nice option. Hopefully will last somewhat as long as old kenmore at 17 years

My LG washer is wonderful. Easy to use. Very large capacity. I may have to buy more towels & bedding in order to fill it to its potential. The Two Man crew were incredible. They installed my washer & dryer in minutes. They didn't leave a mess for me to clean. They were professional & hard workers. They were curtious. And strong. They carried my washer & dryer up a flight of stairs, just using large straps around their shoulders & a brace for their backs. I am very satisfied. I researched a lot of washer/ dryers. Chose the best according to Consumers Report.

This washing machine has been great for the month we've had it thus far. Large capacity and simple to use. The machine does vibrate a bit. The direct drive motor system does compensate to reduce the vibration, but we've found it almost impossible to get rid of it entirely through balancing it. It's not excessive, but could be annoying to some. The black steel surface also shows a lot of dust and lint and also scratches a bit easily.

This is a great washer. It is quiet and faster than our old machine. It is large enough to wash queen sized quilt. The steam clean function managed to get out a few old, set-in stains. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

i have had this washer for a week now and it has already run several loads silently and efficiently. I like that it is wi-fi enabled so that I can start a load remotely. Nice color and large capacity are also great features.

I got this from my girlfriend's dad and hes replacing an old one he enjoys the Isabelita's of use and the size they come from a big family so they do a lot of laundry so so far no complaints

I have done a number of loads and I am very pleased with how clean everything has turned out. I washer a queen size comforter In it last time and it came out great!

Really like how this washer works, very quiet great capacity. Little noisy on the spin cycle but otherwise a great unit

Like a lot of thing these days it may do a bit too much. Availability of steam on one side is a bit strange. Example, run a wash on Normal cycle with cold water but you get steam? It is quiet, fits in the same space as the previous 4.3 cu. ft. machine and it does a good job.

Amazing washer. It is quite large and holds a lot of clothes. I followed wirecutter.com's advice and bought this and it has been amazing.

Clothes have turned out great. We have 6 kids and we’ve never struggled with overfilling. It’s handled ever load well. Steam features are seamlessly integrated. Great value

We were very pleased to get the LG 4.5 CU Ft 14 Cycle Front Loading Washer with Steam. It was rated the best in consumer reports. I would highly recommend it.
