I think it is normal to compare new appliances to what we had and loved. What I am missing in this washer is an inside drum light and a backlit option screen. I have to use a flashlight to see and read the screen. I was successful in connecting this to my phone app - the directions are different than what actually happens when trying to program, which is unfortunate - but then it dropped off my app. It seems to do a good job of cleaning the clothes. Also wish there was an option to open the door from either side, Missing the ease of my old Maytag Neptune but I will be able to work with this LG. Just not as easy or convenient.

Clothes have turned out great. We have 6 kids and we’ve never struggled with overfilling. It’s handled ever load well. Steam features are seamlessly integrated. Great value

I'm told that I received one of the rare washers that have a vibration/balance problem. the 2nd day I was able to get a live person at the local office, but she was "customer no-service" She said she would get back to me. a week later I again was unable to get a live person so finally tried the toll free number. They called back in 25 minutes and arranged for a repair person to come out and in case it didn't solve the problem, they ordered a new washer. 2nd person ran a detailed diagnostic and re-calibrated it. Hopefully this will now end the excess vibration. Because the drum spins so fast, it makes a loud whining noise in the spin cycle.

My old washer finally stopped working and I had to get a new one. I’m glad I went with this one versus any other. Cleans good, works effectively, app is a nice feature.

So far seems good. Quiet. And timing estimates are pretty close. Close are clean and smell fresh. I have 6 at home so it has to be a work horse - time will tell.

It just works, Fast normal cycle about 30 min, very little water used and clothes are clean. wifi is fun to have as well

This is the best washing machine I’ve ever owned in 50 years. Even though it’s a front loser it is very stable and quiet. Vibration control technology works!

Second time we went with LG. Works like a champ. We did have a leak on the second day, but they came and replaced it within two days. New one is working fine.

We were very pleased to get the LG 4.5 CU Ft 14 Cycle Front Loading Washer with Steam. It was rated the best in consumer reports. I would highly recommend it.

Works great! I haven’t tried all the features yet but my clothes come out clean as compared to my old washer where I would sometimes have to set the machine off again.

This front-loading washer replaced my 41 year old Maytag top loading washer. It washes the clothes more thoroughly and gets them cleaner in a gentle way. It has a great many different wash cycle settings that enable me to clean all different types of clothing, sheets, towels, rugs and delicate items without any worry about damage. I enjoy the merry little song that it plays when you turn it on and the song that it plays when it finishes the job. I have had no issues with it during the past 5 months.

This is our first front-load washing machine and it's wonderful. All of different cycles are great. The allergene and sanitation cycles are perfect if you have small children and it cleans anything you give it. Like all front-load machines, it can develop residue or build-up in the door seal if you do not clean it. But we couldn't be more happy and when you combine the app with it's use, you know exactly when it's going to be done or you can control it from your phone.

Great quality (with exception of doorthat's squeaky... maybe needs to be adjusted?). Waited patiently since was on backorder, but worth it.

Simply put... I could not imagine how you would get a better washer. Absolutely great! I have been using them for about 6 months now.

This is the second tome buying this washer/dryer when we have moved to a new home. So happy about it. Such a reliable and easy to use machine.

Working great the balance is off on large loads and sounds like kids are beating something with a bat. But everything else is great

Love it. EASY TO USE with lot of option and alsoo send the notification on your cell phone and easy to configure with u r device.

Did some research before purchasing and the consensus was this was a good unit. Thus far, it works was expected and we are happy with the purchase.
