If a washer can be fun, this one is it! The cheeps and beeps make me smile rather than dread the loud obnoxious buzzer. Cleans well. Love the rapid clean cycle. It is louder than I anticipated however. Black color does scratch easily. So far very pleased with purchase. I love that I can do a load in under 20 minutes.

I’ve only had this washer for two weeks but thus far I really like it! It has many features that spoil you and is efficient with water usage. I have not had any issues with the front seal causing odor. Please note that I do keep my door ajar when not in use.

We went to Best Buy store looking for a washer and dryer. Its not our first choice but it’s all worth it...Amazing item and definitely we’ll recommend it to anyone who looks for an laundry appliances. Affordable and good performance so far.

So far this washer has been great! I love all the settings it offers and the clothes come out fairly dry (saves drying time) because the power it has. The color is beautiful, not totally black, it has a charcoal look to the overall appearance.

I strongly regret my decision to purchase this LG washer to replace my 10-year-old top loading Whirlpool Cabrio, which I had been very happy with before its ball bearings went. I researched the purchase carefully in Consumer Reports and other reputable publications, but have been very disappointed with the washer’s performance and the amount of effort its use entails. The machine does at best an adequate job of cleaning. Any item that is at all stained requires extra pre-treatment and, almost always, more than one cycle. If the load is not large expect there to be soap residue, no matter how little detergent has been added (and of course, I only use high efficiency detergent) — to the point that I routinely program an extra rinse cycle, vitiating any water conservation benefits LG claims. One is required to treat this washer with extraordinary TLC, loading the wash just so and drying the gasket, door and interior after each use (very hard on one’s back). The manual shows that the gasket must be pulled open to be dried properly; how long will the gasket last if that has to be done with each use? And rubber is impossible to dry, so after wiping it I leave the door open to air dry. A significant amount of water remains in the dispenser drawer after each use, so I have to empty that and leave it open, as well. As a result my laundry room always looks awful, with the washer door and drawer wide open. It takes an inordinate amount of time for the machine to actually start once the start button is pressed as it ostensibly weighs and considers the load to determine how much time is needed for the cycle — yet it almost invariably comes up with the same cycle length each time, regardless of the composition of the load. The door is pitch black and it’s impossible to view the washer in action. Most of the specialty cycles (eg, Allergiene, Whitest Whites) are of no use to me because I doubt that the items I wash could withstand steam and very high temperatures. The washer has one excellent option: “fresh care”, which tumbles the load every few minutes after the cycle is finished so the clothing doesn’t wrinkle. That one feature does not balance out the many negatives of this machine. I would like to sell it, even at a steep loss, and replace it with a top-loader.

Washer works great, total cleaning time much less than our prior front loader. Very pleased. The only issue is that the bases were on back order and took 2 months to arrive so you will have to deal with two different deliveries.

This is the best dryer I have ever owned. I love the steam function. It has come in very handy since I hate to iron. It also connects to an app which will let me know when the loads are done.

Love the washer very much. Wash clean and saves energy.

Works and looks great! Very easy to hook up. Clothes are getting cleaner then my last washer and dryer. Gets the musty small out of workout clothes that my other washer couldn't. Love it!

Great replacement machine. Like that door can stay partially open to let moisture out when not using. Only downside is the pedestal is slightly lower than the Whirlpool it replaced so the laundry detergent bottle no longer fits

LG is a company who makes good quality products no doubt. But when it comes to there softwares they are one of the bottom ones. Don’t fall for their so called smartness. They don’t really know to write smart softwares. Their products are hardly smart. For example, none of the claimed ‘smart’ features works properly for this dryer. Cycles stops abruptly without any reasons with wet clothes. And it happens every single cycle. Only the fixed time cycles runs completely, fo which you don’t need such an expensive product.

I haven’t had the best luck with LG products, but this washer seems to be excellent. I’ve only had it a few days, it was delivered on December 6 and I’ve used it three times. At this time I am extremely pleased.

This is a really good buy and the smart diagnostic system that can send messages to your phone and you being able to control it with your phone is awesome! Also turbo wash is an amazing feature.

out of all the washers out there , this came up on top of what I needed .. has all the options and cycles I could want.. even steam.. very well made and runs quiet .. It can even send to your phone when it's done ..

Purchased as gift for my daughter and her family to celebrate purchasing their first home. They wanted one as efficient as what they used in Australia and that is a tall order yet this machine has made them happy

We have a very large family and do a lot of laundry. This washing machine does an excellent job and can do large loads with ease.

Awesome combo set with washer, dryer, lower washer & drawer. Everything fir perfect, dryer vent lined up. Working great. Nice product.

The only issue is the machine washer door... it can’t be reversed so it should go on the left . Otherwise it makes it awkward to transfer to the dryer

Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because connecting my phone to the machine was not easy. THe technician that came out did not know how to do it either. I have yet to do it but plan on trying again soon and will call for help again.
