This was the second time I got the same product after my last LG died. This one stopped working within the first 3 days. Will not buy another LG.

I researched hours and hours before buying this washer and I really wanted to love it. But sadly after a year of ownership it isn’t nearly as reliable as others I have owned for fractions of the price. Error codes abound and the seamless user experience does not meet expectations for the price point.

First washing machine leaked before the installers even left so they took it back. Second machine leaked after installer left so now we're waiting for repairman to show up.

I will never buy any LG washer or dishwasher product again. Needed a repair within one year. It is just a single person doing laundry here and it was loud from day one and did not work properly from the start.

Washer does not work properly, sometimes you have to wash items up to 4 times before they come out better cleaned.

If you tear or damage the front gasket, it costs $400 to repair, If I knew this beforehand, I would have never bought this product.

This order of the LG washer /Dryer took WAY TO LONG!.. From September 2019 to December 2019... First washer terrible sounds, second one scratches... Third one finally success!!!!

Only using the laundry equipment for 3 weeks so far so good. A truthful review should be after 6 months to a year. The sales team,delivery and set up was first class and professional.

WOW!. Just got my washer with the 27 inch pedestal feb 26. I work in a factory and wear heavy jeans and so far ive done 3 different types of loads. reg, towels and my work uniforms , which are 5 heavy jeans and t-shirts.I used tide liq det very small amount and used vinegar for my softener. Turbo wash selected which came to about 52 minutes. let me tell you, yes all my clothes were wet beyond wet ,clean etc. I did sprinkle before i placed my clothes some scent boosters on the bottom of the drum first.the instructions said to download more info how to wash the clothes , and that gave me the insight, it said to use the towels for jeans etc. i would recommend everyone reading that paper. As far as cleaning it, when i was done with my laundry for the day i bought ahead of time micro towels,, gloves, bleach, cleaning tabs etc. i wiped the door down, inside drum down, opened the detergent things and dried them too. they say to keep door open, well i decided that i had a small box fan so i placed it in front of my washer with the door open and blew cool air into it until my load of clothes were dry then put fan away.. this girl wont be getting mildew smell. The washer is very quiet, and all my clothes came out clean and smelling so good.I was a samsung recall person, and just had a top load whirlpool cabrio break after 2 yrs, front loads are better for jeans and heavy articles.My cabrio never had that much water as my LG puts out.. I feel as long as you monthly clean your machine with a tablet etc and follow the instructions you should not have anyproblems, . I bought the 27" pedestal because i have back problems and you will need to empty the water and clean the pump filter in front. It makes it easier if its higher to do that.Also my machine doesnt shake, machine on tile floors. Just a great machine.

We have had this LG Washer for about a month replacing our 15 year old LG. This is a workhorse. Clothes come out SUPER CLEAN...spotless! It is by far the quietest washer I ever heard running. I didn't even know the spin cycle was spinning. Clothes come out 90% dry saving on the electric & time in the dryer. I am very picky and rarely rate a product. The buying experience from the Gastonia BestBuy was exceptional. Thank you Fernando!

I owned a previous LG for years, it was a front loader, & like many I didn't really care for the maintenance of leaving the door open & having to clean the gaskets, but I REALLY liked the way that it cleaned the clothes, so when it was time to get a new one I will admit I strayed to another brand, & a TOP LOADER - HATED IT!! Immediately went & purchased this LG 4.5 FRONT LOADER & OMG - NEVER going back EVER. Washes amazing, super quiet & bells & whistles galore. Never should have doubted there was better than LG. Brand Purchaser for life

I replaced an older LG washer with this model and it is everything I had hoped it would be. It does an excellent job at cleaning clothes and is also gentle. The app works great and sends me an alert when the cycle is finished. It is by far the quietest washer I have ever owned. I stacked it with the matching dryer and love them both.

Just had this washing machine over a week. So far, so good. It’s very quiet, washes clothes great and is super balanced when doing the spin cycle. I have to say, the delivery guys were on time and very professional. Impressed with Best Buy and their service and product.

Well it's just been a week, but so far this matching washer/dryer pair have been great. Really quiet, and we have yet to try quiet mode. Washes so much faster than the 10-year old GE it replaced. We disabled push notifications on the app, but it's still nice to have the app for registration, diagnosis, and reports.

Great performance and strong chemical smell...Includes many bells and whistles. Some of our whites seem whiter using the same bleach alternative HE detergent that we used in our previous machine. The paper manual focuses on mostly on installation... The full manual is a PDF online and it takes a bit of studying to understand on what fabric types and such each of the cycle presets is designed to be used...For example bedding cycle is for pillows and comforters and not sheets and does not offer high spin-speed, so I run the "drain and spin" on high speed after the bedding cycle to spin out as much moisture as possible The biggest downside is that this washer has a crazy strong chemical smell that gives me headaches. I hope the off gassing occurs rapidly. Others have complained that the display has no back light and I find this a minor annoyance in our well lit laundry room We just retired our 20 year old front loader on which I had done numerous repairs over the years with parts purchased locally and online with the help of YouTube videos... Many of the key OEM parts from our previous "domestic" machine were made abroad in countries in Europe Consumer Reports listed LG as the top-notch in terms of reliability. After reading negative reviews of modern computer controlled washers, I purchased a 5-year extended warranty on top of the 1 year warranty that comes with the washer and the doubling of that one year by my credit card. There is a 20% tariff in place on washers made outside the USA, at this time, and I read that mfgs were spreading the cost increase onto dryers too so that each would get a ~10% price increase. Reportedly domestic mfgs have raised their prices and the cost to consumers is reportedly something like $800,000 per Job in the USA retained which seems like a poor return on the investment to me.

So glad I retired my old Kenmore Washer - it was a piece of crap. My new LG washer is AWESOME! I wash most of my clothes on Speed Wash at 25 minutes. I also bought the matching dryer - love the stream refresh, use it every time I do my bed linens to steam clean my down comforter & pillows Would have given 5 stars except sometimes the washer smells - I do leave the door & detergent compartment opened after washing & dry the door / rubber gasket... but it still smells. I wash the washing machine using the wash tub feature - takes over and hour but that seems to get rid of the smell, Takes me a fraction of the time to do my laundry - LOVE IT !!!! Highly recommended

We have had this LG washer for 4 years and it just started leaking water. No problems before this issue.
