However, the noise level is very high. To a point where I will consider my options to get another machine. I have noticed that especially in the sanitary cycle it’s very loud, which I use all the time. I wonder if anyone else has experienced the same problems.

Doesn't thoroughly clean

I can still smell my old cologne after they are clean. The clothes feel sort of sticky like the detergent wasn't thoroughly rinsed. My whites don't come out as white as they did with my old top load washer. If there's one thing you need to clean clothes, it's water, lots of it! On top of that, this thing takes ages to clean a load of clothes. A small load takes over TWO HOURS! That's out of this world. My old top load could clean a huge load of clothes in 45 minutes, and they would come out cleaner. Yes there's a quick clean setting, but that's even worse since it uses even less water than normal. Overall it's the worst washer I've ever used. It doesn't do the job well, which is a shame, because it's very nice.

I bought it in 2019 and since then have spent more money on it that the actual cost of the washer. The washer's display panel went bad twice; it makes load noises during spin cycle; and today it started leaking from the front. I called LG during the initial warranty period but they never scheduled a competent person to fix it. I had to do most of the fixing through Sears. With the new set of issues with the leak, I am about to throw this out and buy a different brand.

Even though front label says “10 year warranty on motor”. Prices to get fixed 400.00 . I’ve had other machines that have last 10-20 years! This is a piece of JUNK!!!!

Poor Support ... Shopping for new Washer

However, 1/21, it started getting loud during the spin cycle and the noisy spin cycle progressively got worse. Even with the laundry room door closed, I can hear it thumping away, like the percussion section of an orchestra. I've tried several times to get LG support to fix this obvious break down of the washer's bearings. But now that its starting to sound like it's going to explode, I have no other recourse but to buy another washer and it obviously won't be another LG product.

LG bad product

(even extended warrenty doesn't cover the bearing) dte said too expensive to fix. now I have to buy a new washing machine. one thing for sure it won't be LG.
