It holds alot of clothes or sheets and blankets. Very quiet when in use. Still trying to get use to the lower water use and no agitator. It has alot of different settings and spins your clothes so fast they dont take long to dry.

We got this washer when our front load washer died. We were disappointed with front load washers do went back to top load. When using a normal wash, there is so little water that the clothes really don't get turned over or wet. When deep wash is used, it adds water based on weight of clothes is the best we can figure out, as you can not pick how much water fills the tub. We are not sure how clean the clothes get with deep wash but feel it is better than regular/normal wash. Not sure we would recommend it yet.

machine does a good job with all clothes so far. much quieter than our last washer. should have checked the depth of the drum. Washes clothes faster than expected. A little deep for shorter people... The depth is good for clothes capacity...

I went to the store to get another brand of washer and ended up with this one with the help of Best Buy team members advice. Got it to replace an older washer and very pleased with results. Easy to use and washes better and faster. Would buy this washer again!

My wife says it’s quiet, the time that it does the washing is in a quick manner. It has a nice tune at the end of each washing and it’s easy to use. In other words, it works great! I’d recommend it to anyone.

I love this washer. My front loader had a mold problem we couldn't get solved. Finally gave up. Stopped at Best Buy on the way to Lowes and found this great washer. It has all the features we need at this senior stage of life. Large capacity. Easy to use. And mold free!

Overall very happy with our LG washer purchase! I love that it adds more water than our front load, clothes seem cleaner. I was worried not having a center agitator but still cleans the clothes clean, without being too harsh.

I replaced my 25 year old Kenmore washer/dryer and hope this LG stands the test of time for 25 years! Washer fits comfortably next to the companion dryer with extra room. It's quiet and efficient. Settings are self-explanatory and easy to use. A light load is under 30 minutes or it can handle a bedspread and more. I'm 5'4" and have to step on my tippy toes to reach the bottom inside of the washer. If you are shorter then me, I wouldn't recommend this washer because you won't be able to reach your clothes to get them out. I like the see-thru flip up lid. It's a classy look and I can monitor the wash by looking in. I wash light loads so there's no issues with waiting for water to fill up. It cleans my clothes! I gave this a 4 star because it's too deep and I don't like the alarms on any of the new products and there doesn't seem to be a way to disengage the alarm, which sound like Anchors Away, I don't need my appliances singing to me!

I absolutely love this washing machine. Clothes come out great. Very easy to use. Love not having central agitator, and the little song when clothes are ready. Very large capacity. And, nice looking.

This LG washer is excellent. very water efficient, very quiet and does a great job getting our clothes clean. I do use the extra water cycle quite a bit and it is very helpful. Had it a little over a month and i think it's great.

We’ve had this washer about 2 months. So far so good. Easy to use, handles big loads well. Only drawback is I’m 5’4 and a I have to really stretch for small items like socks etc. but I am enjoying it so far.

No more paddle in the middle to take up space. It feels like we can put more load than my old unit. So far this thing works great and a lot more quitter. I love this direct-drive thing. No more drive-belt to break and replace.

This washer seems to work decently. My main concern (which I did not subtract stars for) was that the first load I washed in it (my rather large mattress pad), the washer leaked all over my garage floor. It has only happened that one time and I am guessing the mattress pad was too much for the washer to handle. However, my Best Buy advisor told me this was not normal and it should have been able to handle it. I was told an exchange was going to be processed, but just like my fridge, it's a month later and nothing has happened, I have no idea what is happening with this. It's very frustrating that I am having to track people down and that people are not responding to me. Furthermore, when the installers set it up, they left dirty handprints all over it and there was water leaking where they connected everything. Thankfully, I had a handyman there and he was able to fix it.

I’ve had this washer for about five months now, and am still amazed at how much laundry it can hold. It’s literally cut my trips down to the basement, where my laundry room is, in half because I can do in one load what used to take two, sometimes three loads to do! And, the clothes come out clean! The impeller drive, in lieu of the traditional agitator is fantastic! No more ripped and ruined clothes! I had a Maytag HE front load washer about eleven years old that starting leaking, I LOVE my new washer!!

LG WASHER WASHES MORE CLOTHES, BETTER THAN ANY WASHER WE HAVE PREVIOUSLY OWNED. CLOTHES APPEAR TO BE BRIGHTER, AND IN BETTER CONDITION THAN PREVIOUS WASHER. THE WASHER IS ALSO QUIETER WHEN OPERATING.

This is a wonderful machine and much improved over my old one. Clothes come out in excellent condition with less water and energy. It is easy to load with convenient controls. The installation was professional as well.

Excellent. The machine is easy to use and doing the clean job very well. No wonder it is highly recommended by Consumer Report. The delivery is on time and smooth. The installation is professional.

QUIET !?? Are those other reviewers deaf ? This is undoubtedly the noisiest WM I have ever owned. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't such a racket. Cleans clothes - yes Was forced into a new top loader after my relatively new LG front loader proved to be impossible to keep from stinking - literally. And it leaked out the front. I am not sure why all the WM makers have apparently decided that agitators are undesireable. I'm trying to be a smart and efficient consumer here, with the front loader and now an agitator-less top loader. What I have gotten for my efforts is a machine that's either stinky or noisy. LG makes a decent product - but the basic engineering designs leave much to be desired.

Would have given 5star if not for the poorly written manual that comes with machine. To get full benefits of the control panel it's a MUST!! that you go on LG websites & download pages 22- 29 of the online manual for this model. It contains detailed instructions on how to use the control panel: like how to do only a rinse/spin cycle or spin cycle only. If you do that then you will find your clothes will come out just the way you expect them to & not like some of the problems people have stated in their bad reviews. I have not any of those problems!

This washer is pretty quiet overall, it washes quickly, can do big loads of clothes, stainless steel inside, no pillar inside, easy to operate, looks pretty in an all white look, washes the clothes well, fair price, energy star.
