It helps you prevent an “out of balance” situation by testing the load before it starts to fill! That’s just one of the many neat features. I love not having an agitator! Awesome machine!

It does the job and my clothes come out clean. For those complaining about the water levels, read the instructions and download the additional guide. This will help you greatly, including for those complaining about it snagging their clothing. You can change the settings before pressing the start/play button to suit your needs.
