I did a lot of research, read the Consumer Reports article that happened to be in the mail right before the time of purchase and read reviews. This seemed to be the best fit for what I was looking for. The machine washes clothes well, even a sleeping bag. It isn't that noisy on any part of the cycle and I love the end of cycle jingle! Such a happy tune! Make sure to get the Geek Squad Service plan...they deliver, hooked it up, made sure all was as it should be, explained how it operated and answered all my questions with patience and a smile. It is so important to learn how to operate it and read the manual to be virtually problem free.

Excellent washer. Washes clothes very efficiently and plays a little tune when the wash cycle is complete. Highly recommend this washer.

This was my first time purchasing a brand new washer and dryer and I love it! Plus the geek squad team set it up and I couldn’t have asked for friendlier people!

This washer replaced a GE one that was only 4 years old. What a difference! We’ve now had it for over 6 months and run it regularly. Great quality and very easy to use.

This machine replaced a 7 year old Maytag Bravos high efficiency washing machine. This machine uses much less water, is faster and extremely quiet in comparison

I love the washer and dryer!! They are so efficient!! It weights your clothes and it determines how long it needs to get washed for!! And how long it should dry.

Wash works great love the large drum. Controls are easy to use great washer highly recommend.

This is the first time I've had a washer without an agitator and was concerned it wouldn't do as good a job. I was wrong. It uses much less water and cleans just as well as washers I've had in the past. It's happy little song that chimes when it is finished is also much more pleasant than either a buzz or nothing. It has a lot of wash features that I don't necessarily think I'll use but for the price it is a quality washer!

There are many things I don’t like about this machine. First off all I don’t understand the clear top. I can actually see that the clothes on top are not getting a good cleaning. And it’s rather noisy during spin cycle. The pull out detergent dispenser is hard to get used to after decades of it being on the left side which is now bleach only. I’ve had to completely tape it off due to being a creature of habit. I am not a fan of the limited wash cycles either. If it wasn’t such a pain to return it to the store, I would certainly do so. Not impressed at all.

Washer does a good job cleaning clothes and was for the first ten days was quiet during the wash cycles run. After 10 days unit became very noisy and we stopped using and contacted LG. They quickly scheduled a service call and after another few days the washer was again performing well. Found out during the service call that other people who purchased the washer recently had the same issue. Hope the washer continues to perform well as we like it otherwise.

Absolutely love this washer. Many wash options and the alarm sound is so cute. It isn’t loud and doesn’t bounce around like our old Maytag.

I love how the washer has several options for different fabrics or situations; and it holds so much I can get by with one load.

Just had this for a month so far, but love how much you can wash at one time, it’s very spacious, and love that you can see through the top while it is washing.

We like this washer. Wash is a clothes and doesn't rip up any of the fabrics. It's nice to wash gym shorts with drawstrings and the drawstrings do not get caught in the agitator.
