more than I wanted to spend but with 18 mos financing at the time I went for it because the salesman said it gets the least complaints. I wanted a dependable machine because a switch went bad on my Whirlpool-- which otherwise was fine. This machine seems solid!

I had an LG upright washer for 5 years before an electrical board went out. The technician said labor and parts would not be worth it and suggested buying a new one instead. He recommended LG despite issue with mine. Best Buy S/rep also said LG was reliable after redesign of their models. I was hesitant at first but went ahead and bought the WT7100CW model. It worked ok for just under 1 1/2 years with only some minor quirks. Now the power won't come on and doing a power reset would not remedy the situation. The technician narrowed the problem to circuitry behind the control panel (not the main board or blown fuse). Again, labor and parts would be expensive and recommended buying a new one, though not LG this time because of my experience with them. (I've gone through a similar experience with LG refrigerators but that's another story) I finally called LG customer service to express my frustration. After about 15 minutes of trying to get my point across, They finally agreed to submit a request to approve a one time out-of-warranty complementary service call. It takes 5 business days to get an answer (probably longer since next week is Thanksgiving). Now, I'll be without a washing machine for at least a couple of weeks until I hear back from LG to try to repair it or I will have to replace it. I'll keep you up-to-date on whether or not LG does the right thing.

Purchased for my parents - they love it! It's been a month now and no issues so far. I'm glad I stopped by the store to speak with a consultant. He helped me understand the different brands and models that matches my (parents) needs.

This washer has been amazing so far. The only downside is when a load is done, it plays a chime similar to an Ice Cream truck. This confused my daughter and I for a while as we ran outside and didn't see one.

I have no complaints. The washing machine cleans the clothes very well. I had a similar washing machine, same make, but you couldn’t smell the cleanliness of the clothes. With this machine you can. Maybe it was the water supply. I’m satisfied.

Finally Got the Match to the LG Washer. Liking the top Loader. The clear lid makes it a captivating show. Compared to the old washer it was like going from a CPU to a flat screen. Recommend upgrading to the new technology in washers. Great quality!

I read lots of reviews for a washer in this price range and caught it on sale. The reviews were some of the best. I found it easy to use but wish it had cycle length between quick wash and normal (29 minutes or 62 minutes). I also wish the manufacture had longer than one year warranty. Based on owning it a month, it seems fine.

It's a beautiful washer with a window to see the cloths. I love that! You just throw your cloths in pick a cycle and press start.. It has lots of features and is well built.. It's worth spending the extra money.

Replaced a 20+ year old washer so we had to read the operation manual but other than that has performed as expected. Only gave it four stars because we haven't tried to wash anything really dirty yet. Was well packed to prevent damage in transit and was easy to install and hook up.

Love the LG brand, however, a couple of times I've had spots on my clothing. I use the same laundry detergent, so not sure why it happened. Once to a black top, another time to a blue pair of dress pants.

The machine is easy to use. You don't need to select the size of the load/how high the water level will be -- the machine automatically determines the size of the load, and the associated required water level.

This is a great washer. It has us nervous when you turn it on and the water does not start. After reading the directions it states there's a delay as it weighs the clothes. Duh... yes read the directions. Very happy with it!

So far so good. I like how it spins dry before water comes in to make sure that the load is balanced. The see-through top is great and the soft-close action is a nice touch. Our first month with it has been a good experience.

Affordable washer and easy to use. The clear top makes washing clothes super fun for families!

Washing machine works great. The differences from our old Maytag is that - not as much water is extracted and the non-default settings are not retained - so to get what you want you need to set up the controls everytime time.

Nice washer, quiet, washes quickly, uses less water

This LG washer was very highly rated on Consumer Reports so I purchased this washer to replace another one with an agitator which was very noisy. This LG washer works well and clothes come out clean and not wrinkled.
