A technician came out and told us he had to come back to order the part. We were told they would be out 6 days later and no one showed up. I called LG customer care and now the appointment was pushed back twice and still do not have the part. I bought a LG washer based on reviews... its turning out to be a mistake. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

leaky washer

I almost didn't accept it, but it was marked down for being a floor model. I had it hooked up and they started the cycle and left. I washed a load in cold water but when the cycle finished the clothes were really hot so I pulled the washer out to see if the hoses were right. I had water leaking under my new washer. I should have refused the delivery.

Service? What a joke but I’m not laughing.

When they came to install they gave up after 12 seconds of trying to cut off the water before calling it quits. Second time out they were a no show. Thanks for nothing. Glad I took an afternoon off from work to sit here waiting for people that weren’t gonna show. And someone had the nerve to mark it complete on my profile. That someone should be fired. Inexcusable.

Worst appliance experience in life

No one responsible will send me my money back or a new machine. Ridiculous. Do not buy this, do not buy anything LG and I'm not sure that I will shop at Best Buy again.

Don’t waste your money

Every time I do a load of wash I have to stay right by the washer and “help” it. I frequently stop it to rebalance and untwist laundry. And no, I am not over or under loading it. Give me an old washer with an agitator anyday!

Instead of gyrating, this machine provides only gentle spinnning. They removed the crucial parts of a washer to cut down on the cost of building it. Then they sell you that the spin cycle is all that’s needed to separate soil from fabric. It isn’t.

Dirty laundry all the time

LG washer issues

Discoloration

Unless I wash less than 10 items at a time, this product left my clothes dingy and discolored. The detergent up leaves water trap adding for mildew to form quickly unless I keep the door open whenever I am not using. Completely disappointed.

Had it a year and started getting black specs on my clothes, cleaned the washer and now it’s oil on my clothes. They said it’s the drum motor which is under warranty, but not labor. It’s a two man all day job and the labor will be over $500

Doesn't rinse well, complicated interface

This happens even if I specify a second rinse and extra water. Also, the on-screen interface is complicated, making it hard to use.
