    This is the second washer of this model I have received. First one had ball bearings in the washer tub. Thank goodness I had an extended warranty so Best But sent a replacement. The replacement lasted only one year. Loud banging during spin cycle and black flakes in the machine and on the clothes after only one tear if use. Replacement will be a different model this time.

About that loud banging during the spin cycle, it might help to check if the washer is level and that the load is evenly balanced. Sometimes, an unbalanced load or uneven flooring can lead to some extra vibration and noise. As for those black flakes, they could be due to detergent buildup or residue inside the tub. Running a Tub Clean cycle with a cleaner like Affresh or some liquid chlorine bleach can really help clear that up and enhance wash quality.
