Worse AC Unit Ever!!!

When you turn it on, it has a delayed reaction. It takes almost 30 seconds before the air actually starts blowing. It does NOT get my living room cold at all. You literally have to stand directly in front of the unit to feel the cold air. Right now, I have the temperature set at 60 with the speed on medium and my living room is barely cool. It's 9:28 and the sun is down so, it should definitely be much colder than it is. This unit pales in comparison to my Frigidaire units. I've purchased several of those and they cool my house like I have a central AC system. I HATE this unit. I only bought it because, Best Buy was sold out of the Frigidaire unit I wanted. The only reason I can't get rid of is is because, I'm past the return window. This is the last AC unit from LG I ever buy. I will be replacing this with a Frigidaire unit next year expeditiously. I do NOT recommend this unit.

Heavy, fancy PIECE OF JUNK

First time turning it on, it made loud grinding noises, internal fan skidded to a halt, and then it spat foam pieces at us before dying. Returned.

It didn't even last 2 years. I'm now back to my old unit which is a lot louder but actually works. Waste of money.

Cools nicely and is quiet

Needless to say I was concerned about getting an air conditioner that could handle this job. I also have limited storage space so the dimensions of the unit matter. This unit meets all the specs I was looking for. It is sleek, easy to install, comes with padding in different forms, cools my space quickly and well AND is quiet. I am very pleased. Is a bit heavy but performs a heavy job. Highly recommend.

Faulty A/C. Loud Noises.

Paid a TaskRabbit to install, uninstall, and reinstall a new one. Best Buy customer service was useless and didn't provide any support for my inconvenience and monetary loss.

The Midea window unit is by far the most quiet window unit I've come across and i was hoping this one was as quiet but it's not. However, it is not annoyingly loud.
