Good picture but not as good as Samsung in my opinion. However, for the price it's the best bang for the money. I paid $575......Samsung in the same size was approx $250-$300 more. No regrets. LG is a very good brand.

Very simple to set up...sleek design...light weight and very thin...great colors, clear resolution...hooked up to my components with HDMI cables and was ready to go. I recommend connecting to a home theatre receiver.

I loved the deal I got on this TV. Picture and sound are great!! The only negative is that just short of 3 years old we lost the picture. I think that tvs ought to last longer than 3 years!!!

This is the first LG product we have purchased. With research it appeared that the product would meet our needs and was a good value. We are not disappointed with the viewing clarity and quality of the HDTV product.

This is a great TV...It doesn't have the flashy features. That is OK because that isn't necessarily what I was looking for...If you just want a great TV that has great picture and works well, this is the TV for you.

No problems with set-up. When we had to put in a cable box to get more channels the remote control was not able to operate the scientific atlanta device and the buttons were too small for an older person to be seen.

I had looked around for a long time comparing brands, size, and price. This tv was the best find EVER! The picture is great and it is a quality name brand that has everything I was looking for in a big screen tv.

Excellent overall performance. Purchased this model for overall picture quality, clairty and sharpness, and it has delivered. Sound quality is excellent. Easy to set-up and incorporate with satellite service.

tv is excellent! all is needed is a decent sound bar, although sound is very good for a flat screen tv. definitely great quality and got it for a great price

I was originally going for a smaller TV with less resolution to stay in my $500 price range, but this TV was a bit more, but worth it. It was even less on bestbuy.com...be SURE to check prices online before or at the store, Best Buy will adjust to the cheapest price. It saved me an extra $180! The one thing that's starting to drive me crazy is that I can't seem to keep the setting to not revert to energy saving. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about energy saving, bring down the elec bill, but this energy savings makes the screen go dark multiple times and you can't see the picture very well. I don't know how it keeps changing the Picture mode back to energy savings, other than that, I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

I love the picture quality of this tv. It works great for watching my shows and movies. Big enough that my whole family loves to watch movies together.

Great pic. No shadowing. Used for movie viewing and now FOOTBALL SEASON is here. YES!!

The 47" screen is great for watching from 10-12 feet away. The other day I was watching AC 360 on CNN, and it looked so real, it was as if Anderson Cooper's head was sticking out of the TV screen in 3D!

This is an excellent product. It sits on a small stand and fits perfectly flat against the wall. High quality color and easy to use. Not all that fancy stuff for me.I highly recommend this television.

I purchased for my retired in-laws that were watching a 32" TV and were struggling to see the picture. great economic size and price. easy to install. great picture and good sound. everyone was happy

The picture and sound on this TV is very clear. It was quite easy to use the prompts for the picture setting. I would definitely recommend this TV.

Upgraded from a 37 inch to this 47. I was skeptical on getting a 42 but instead went with the 47 because it was only 100 bucks more for the extra inches. Very satisfied and happy with this tv!!

I could not decide between the LG and the Samsung but when the Sales Associate gave us a demo of them both the LG was the better choice by far. Very please with the picture and sound from this tv.

This replaces the 55" TV which was only temporary. This has a bit smaller picture but it works fine in the space. The sound on the new sound bar is true and clear when I remember to turn it on.

This tv has a very clear HD picture. I was comparing it to a Samsung that had a similar quality for a couple hundred dollars more. This tv has the quality without having the steep price tag.
