picture is good. sound is good. compares well to other tvs in its class very well. i have had good experiences with LG products in the past so im expecting the same. happy with purchase. on wish 1, it had more imputs for devices. only has 2 hdmi and one av input. other style or more hdmi/avs would be nice. remote is very light, feels like it isnt quality ( but may be). wish it had more weight.

It was the least expensive 47" LED 120Hz 1080p TV that Best Buy offered at the time, and I had a number of gift cards, so I was buying it there no matter what. The biggest limitation is only two HDMI ports. One for home theater, one for satellite TV - where do I plug in my current gen video game system? Had I thought it through, I would have paid a few dollars more. But it works fine for what it is.

Picture quality is crisp and defined, choice of different sound modes,which all enhance the selected mode are a welcomed extra. The ability to easily insert a USB with photos or music is another great feature. This 27 lb TV replaced an older smaller 167 lb flat screen TV, that is a huge plus. I`m going to watch TV!

Love this TV. Bought it for my son for his birthday/ moving out gift. It has a very nice picture quality and sound. He's very happy with it!

Great tv for the price. I didn't need the internet capabilities since my blu-ray was already set up for Amazon and Hulu. Glad I spent the extra $ for the 120Hz, I was one of those people who thought what's the difference and both my wife and I were impressed with the improved picture quality.

We went to best buy after getting annoyed at walmart with the lack of help, inventory and just about everything. The specialist at best buy was more than helpful. The tv we wanted was not in stock but it didnt matter after he explained some differences. We spotted this lg at a good price and scooped it up. We love it and can't believe we waited so long to buy one. When we first hooked it up we were a little disappointed in the picture quality. We didnt know we needed to switch to the HD cable box. We called time warner switched out the box for an HD and the HDMI cable came with. Awesome picture! Sound is good but our room is small so it works fine. We did think there qas only one hdmi port and didn't realize that there were more on the side of the tv. Very happy with the purchase we made!

I've been enjoying this TV for a year and a half. The picture quality is great and the sound is fine in my little living room.

I shopped around and read a lot of different reviews before purchasing a new tv. This LG seemed to fit everything I was looking for and it has not disappointed. Great picture, easy set up with my cable. HD picture for sports is awesome. I would definitely purchase again

Great tv, 120 mhz, very clear picture. It took some work to figure out how to record from a vcr using the cable box without having to leave the tv on or you get a message all over the screen. No one seemed to know how to do it at best buy, lg, time warner cable or the vcr mfr but I figured it out. Add the sound bar for the full experience.

This TV was purchased so we could enjoy hockey games in HD. We are very pleased with the picture quality and the refresh rate makes for a very smooth picture during the high speed action of the hockey games. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase.

We recently had to replace a plasma tv and decided to purchase an HD LED tv made by LG. We are a very satisfied customer with the new LG TV due to the excellent HD picture quality, clarity and vibrant color and the capability of true 1080P with the use of a blueray player. We did have to add a soundbar to get a much better sound quality then the tv speakers are able to produce. We have gotten compliments from family members and friends who have watched shows, sporting events or movies on the tv with us and would highly recommend this LG product to others!

LG LN5400 47 inch. This is my first LED LCD tv. The lack of black background takes a while to get used to. Picture quality is pretty good, better than my old Plasma. Sound quality is excellent. I am an avid gamer and this tv rocks for games, great refresh rate. Only bad thing is at this price should be a smart tv, It isn't

Bought this tv for my bedroom. Added a roku. Works great, good price. No problems so far.

Best television ever!!!!. Bought this LG & returned another that I recently purchased. It has a beautifully sharp picture & real crisp sound, (No need for additional sound bar). Family enjoys sports. Didn't know we'd be watching our Boston Red Sox win the World Series with such pinpoint clarity. Real pleasure watching all games & shows on this high quality television!!!!!! Grateful for the courtesy & assistance provided by the Best Buy customer service associate & salesperson.

Have only had this tv for a short while and so far I like it very much. It was incredibly easy to set up. It has all the basic features that I wanted in a non-smart tv. I think the price was excellent for the size, brand, picture and features.

great TV for the price. I wish it had 3 HMDI inputs, and it has very poor sound quality, so you have to use an external sound system, which the TV will not control either. But for a mid size room so the 47" is perfect, and hooked into my sound system, it is a beautiful picture and great digital output.

WE LOVE OUR NEW TV. THIS IS OUR FIRST FLAT SCREEN TV. WE WAITED TILL OUR OLD ONE DIED BEFORE BUYING A NEW TV. DIDN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM. THIS ONE IS VERY SIMPLE TO HOOK UP & OPERATE. GREAT PICTURE, BUT WOULD RECEMEND BUYING A SOUND BAR.
