    This was my first experience with a flat-screen TV, coming from a high-quality "box" TV. The sound was terrible, and the picture was poor quality. This model was demoed in-store and looked beautiful, but it was shown using a blue-ray player. Though I know I could have done the same and would have had a much better result, I feel the system should be decent on it's own steam, without product enhancements (blue-ray player and soundbar, etc.). I ended up exchanging the TV for a higher grade and brand.

    TV died two years after purchase date. Would not purchase a LG TV again. Had to switch back to our old GE TV that is over 25 years old.
