It's not top of the line but it's a decent 4K tv for the price.

I could not get the picture quality I wanted. I played with all the settings but not satisfied with the picture. I ending up taking the LG back and buying a Samsung 4K tv. I still had to adjust the picture quality settings to meet my expectations but it was easier than the LG.

This is a good 4k tv a bit slow with the smart features.

Picture is too dark, all scenes look like night time or indoor even outdoor scenes. Cannot correct with all available settings. Surprisingly good sound out of speakers though. I may return this product.

I bought my first 4K TV and was excited and got it working and had great picture but after two weeks the bottom half the screen started blinking a pink color and a line going horizontal across the middle of the screen. Called bestbuy because I bought there warranty and short story is still don't have a broken TV and no return phones about getting it fixed.

I was skeptical at first buying this on black Friday but I feel it was a solid purchase. Keep in mind out of the box you will have to mess with the picture settings to get the colors right. I ended up going with Game mode and playing with the picture settings from there. I used Xbox One's calibration method and helped me get the colors popping and looking sharp. I know this TV is 60Hz native but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. This model does have a 120Hz mode but it's not native. The "TruMotion 120" feature still works decently when turned on and gives the desired effect. However, for my personal preference I turned this feature off and for one reason only. Games. Leaving TruMotion on adds unnecessary input lag. Turning this off makes the input lag almost non existent. Some of the games I tested are: Rise of The Tomb Raider Halo 5 Gears of War Ultimate Edition Forza 6 Gears was the only game that I noticed any kind of input lag but it was minimal. Everything else I played ran smooth and I couldn't replicate any major lag with the other games I tested. There may be other games that will play like Gears did, but it's not enough to say this TV isn't good for games. It's good enough for games. Especially considering how inexpensive this TV is at the moment with the features you get. Another bonus with this TV is how fast the interface is. Normally, with smart TVs the apps load up slow and the interface is clunky. Not with this one. LG's Web OS 2.0 is fluid and quick compared to others I've used. Not saying is the fastest but you won't be disappointed. The apps on LG's store are a little lackluster but they have all the major ones available like Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Pandora etc. 4k content looks fantastic as well as 1080p. Anything from watching sports, movies, playing games looks great. Just as long as you take time and play with the settings a little bit. This TV is definitely worth $499. Sure, there are better TVs out there for say $200-300 more but if you're on a budget you can't go wrong with this TV. My final settings ended up like this. Not saying these are for everyone but these have been the best all around settings for me so far. I still may lower the color setting a bit. Backlight - 80 Brightness - 43 Sharpness - 20 Color - 75 Contrast - 67 All advanced/picture features turned off.

Defective control . BEEN ALMOST A MONTH STILL HAVENT GOT A CONTROLLER . WOULDNT RECCOMEND BEST BUY ONLINE PURCHASE ..

Worst service at Best Buy branch due to the manager. Will not recommend to buy anything from this store.

i dont know what the complaints are. this tv is great. the price on black friday was amazing. i would reccomend this to anyone. the wifi works great, the color is great. if i had one complaint it would be the remote. its small and doesnt light and doesnt really handle well. but that is nothing compared to the great performance.

I purchased this TV during the Black Friday sale, and for the price this is an excellent item. The color and picture are crisp. The TV itself is super thin and lightweight. However, I do wish there was one additional HDMI output. Is this the best TV on the market? No. Is this a great option for the price point? Absolutely.

First TV looked great for 10 minutes. Screen froze and went black! LG cust svcs was great! Told me to take it back to Best Buy and exchange for a new one. Second TV is AWESOME!!! Like it so much, I bought one for the basement. At $499 for a 4K TV... (Black Friday deal), a no brainer! So... I took a star away for the first one being defective! Everything else is 5 stars!

I read a few negative reviews about the picture quality of this TV and was skeptical to buy it online. But couldn't resist the great price discount and decided to give it a go. The thing is the factory configuration of this TV isn't that good and the first time you turn ON, the videos won't look great. But I tweaked the Picture Settings in Vivid mode(Played around with contrast, backlight, color, sharpness, tru Motion etc.. ). The picture now looks great. Absolutely fantastic and crystal clear. So looks like the negative reviews came from those folks who din't put in the effort to tweak it to the right settings. Absolutely worth the Price!!!
