I was excited about the easy setup and app already preloaded. It seemed to work great until I went to turn it on the next day. It turned on to a black and blue screen and there was no fixing it myself.

    Exceptional Value

The image quality is great and works very well with HD Live programming as well as other broadcasts and when playing Blu rays. The only qualm that I would say goes against it is the transition speed in action sequences and scene transitions as there is a mild delay that even after multiple adjustments with settings do not go away. This can be slightly problematic when watching an action film and live sports. However, given the price point I obtained 2 of this same model at during a holiday sale with Best Buy, the unit literally cost less than 1/2 of that of a comparable model with 240hz vs the true 120hz this model provides. As my title states, it's an "exceptional value"!

You think that you are getting a deal but it is the same price everywhere. They claim this is a 120Hz but it is a 60Hz. I have a 4 year old LG 120Hz and I barely noticed the difference after I adjusted all my settings. It is ok if you have a tube tv or an old 720i. If you are getting it for gaming then it's cool. Do heavy research on this one, for $100 more you could get a nice 240Hz but not as big but worth every penny. This goes for the 43 inch they have for $399 as well. Best Buy should put every single spec on their website so we don't find out the hard way. It is like buying a brand new car with rollup windows, standard transmission, and a cassette player. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I received this TV for free after purchasing an LG OLED 65 inch for my living room. This 49 inch 4K was a breeze to unbox and set up in my bedroom. Ultra sharp, eye popping colors, and lightweight . This is a perfect set for any application, I will purchase another for a guest bedroom. LG - Life's Good!

Amazing 4k TV for the price

I purchased this TV for the sole purpose of using it as a computer monitor to handle my gaming and multimedia content. I'm actually a big fan of the motion interpolation feature and it works well on this screen when only watching movies of videos. The soap opera effect introduces a ton of input lag which is to be expected. There is a setting called HDMI-PC which turns off the effect and drastically reduces input lag. There's still some lag compared to an actual monitor but it's tolerable, at least by me. I was a little weary of the idea of another 60hz screen at first but after watching a few movies and playing a few video games, I'm actually very glad I bought this LG. The main games I play at the moment are Fallout 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5 and they look absolutely stunning at QHD 2560x1440 30hz stable at close to 60 fps but obviously your experience will differ depending on your hardware. I run Windows 10 at UHD 3840x2160 60hz and it's never looked so stunning. Definitely make sure your PC is able to handle these huge resolutions if you plan to use it other than a regular TV. A regular 1080p screen will show obvious large pixels when used as a monitor but since this is 4k, the screen actually looks like a giant actual 48" computer monitor. It's WONDERFUL. There's some slight blur which is to be expected from the sub thousand dollar 4k displays but you should expect that.

4k Ultra 2160p for a cheap low price! Got it online for Black Friday and I got my PS4, Xfinity, and PC set up to it. The only drawback is that ONLY HDMI 1 can be Ultra HD. I wish they made it so that all 3 can be, but hey, I'm not complaining about the 3 HDMI inputs

When I saw this Black Friday Deal, my husband and I decided we couldn't pass it up. We retired our older Toshiba that had extremely poor sound quality. This LG is amazing! The 3d effect it has takes some getting used to but the picture quality and the sound for the low price can't be beat! Love it! And it takes video games to a whole new level!

I am completely in love with my new 4K Ultra HDTV. I read reviews before purchasing, some stated there was not a power button on the television, there is you have to actually read the manual to see where it is located. Overall PERFECT television, LG you have a new customer for life!

Very good looking , light weighted, very thin. The quality is good too. Nice color, although it is not true 120hz (60 actually) but I don't really care considering the overall value. Used for 5 months so far so good!

Sure, OLED 4k tvs will have deeper blacks and crisper picture, but for only ~$500, the price can't be beat. LG has fantastic customer service if you have issues, too. I have nothing bad to say about this TV, I love watching my favorite older standard definition shows and movies on Netflix in 4k and seeing details I'd never noticed before! Good buy.

Flawless, smooth picture quality, even while watching sub par quality video. Only diappointment was my inability to hook up to the internet, but that is still being worked on and it's unsure if that is the tv or internet box's fault. Love the interface, easy to use and navigate.

    Disappointed by LG

I'm sadly regretting on buying this TV, we bought it on 2015 Blackfriday. The issues started a month ago (Jan), with the simple trouble of connect the TV to the WiFi, but now the TV is shutting off and turning on randomly, and it became unresponsive (cannot change the video source or to an app). Even that you always expect that your new TV works perfectly, we accept the fact that some products aren't perfect, so we wrote to LG chat support, after an hour we decided to prove with the customer service by phone, they were very nice and gave us an appointment for Jan 20th. The technician came, was friendly, he changed a board and configured some settings, then the TV was working good until a couple of hours later, when the TV randomly started with the issues again. We called again for a new repairing service, and a new technician came today on Feb 2nd. Again, the technician was very friendly, and spend more than 2 hours, changing the same board for the second time, and other pieces, after a few tests and calling for phone assistance to LG, he apologize saying that he has to order a new piece (an updated one) in order to try to fix the TV, so we have to wait a little bit more. I'm sure that the technician tried to do his job the best he could. So after almost 2 months, 2 technicians, and 2 changes of boards my TV is still not working, and I reported to the customer service my situation and of course my frustration about this, and I ask to speak with a supervisor, but instead I talked to a lady who seems very tired and bored of customer calls, and to sum up, her response was: ¨for now we can only wait for the new piece¨. So..another few days without a ´smart´ TV. Definitely not the answer that I was expecting (was expecting if I could get a refund or maybe a new TV, just to validate my warranty) I'm just asking to show for real some of the promises that you advertise everywhere: being cool, great quality products, life is good?...

I bought this to use with my computer and console gaming. 1. It says 120hz but you wont get 120hz if you are plugged in with an HDMI, which is the case for everything! Which means im running 60HZ at all times. Also, it doesnt have an HDMI out so i can't hook it up to my sound system. Also it doesn't have any buttons on the TV itself. You cant turn it on change the channel or do inputs unless you have the controller. Which can get annoying when you cant find the remote and you cant shut the tv off without it.
