I bought this washer as a match with the dryer. I was hesitant to buy it because my washer that I previously had was working and didn't really need a new one. However it was not a high efficiency washer. So I decided to get it and I must say I'm so happy I made the choice to buy it. It cleans my clothing better, with less water, in less time than my old washer. Also I love the steam feature. Oh don't let me forget the capacity. It is enormous! I can was a queen size comforter, all the queen size bed linen and a queen size mattress pad all in one load and have it super clean! I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

I've been using my new washer for over a month now, and I love it! It's quiet, energy efficient, and has plenty of room for a queen size comforter. No complaints thus far. This was a huge upgrade for me.

My clothes have never been so clean. Very quiet and uses little water. I can also wash all my king size bedding in one load. So glad I purchased this washer and the matching dryer.

Love this washing machine. Clothes come out smelling clean. My Front loader always had a musty smell and the front door would get grimy. The top loader smells clean, looks clean, cleans great.

Amazing the room you get without the agitator. Clothes are just as clean if not cleaner without get worn down by the old agitator smacking them around. I'm 5'8'' and have trouble reaching if a tiny garment is on the bottom. I imagine a shorter person might need laundry tongs.

This washer has cut our loads down by a minimum of a 1/3.....We used to wash our bedding in 3 loads and now we can do it all at once! This washer takes 1/2 the water our old washer did, which saves us money and the clothes are cleaner than ever.

This washer represented a massive upgrade for our family in terms of size, options, and technology and so far it has been a great investment for us. The large capacity means that we are able to wash more clothes at once meaning fewer loads and more time saved. This was my first experience with a high efficiency washer and the first time I watched it go thru the cycle I thought there was no way this could get clothes clean but it does an excellent job.

Very Happy, We went to four other stores to purchase washer and dryer. Other places had the same units but were not willing to work with us. Best Buy was willing to honor other prices and coupons. The United are amazing and very quiet and efficient. I can not believe how quick it washes and drys my clothes. LG is the best!

Love this washer, it's huge and has great options. Been using for 2 months now. Cleans well, even when using turbo wash which shortens cycle. Does a great job rinsing too, I haven't had any residue on clothes. I can easily fit my bulky king size comforter in it, or two twin comforters. And it does a good job adjusting for a tiny delicate load.

Washer is quiet, fast, thorough and has high capacity

This is a great machine. I've washed clothes and a king comforter with great results. I don't agree with people saying all of the articles inside do not get wet. If you watch the full cycle, everything does get wet. I saw another reviewer who said condensation built up in the electronic control panel. At first I didn't notice this until one evening I was washing a load in hot water and the lights in the room along with the lights on the display panel just happened to show that my machine had condensation under the electronic control panel. Not sure how this can be good for the electronics. I also read a few reviewers who mentioned the tub being so deep that it was hard to get clothes out after being washed. I went to the store and reached inside the display model to see if this would be a problem for me. I'm 5'3" and could almost reach down to the bottom of the drum. What I didn't think about in the store was what the clothes (i.e. socks, other small items, etc) would be like after they had been spun. Those small items stick to the drum when wet. I literally had to get my can grabber out of my kitchen pantry to get those small items from the machine. My laundry room/closet is in the middle of my one story home and is right off of my living room. Yes, the noise is more than my Samsung front loader but it isn't enough noise that would make me not consider purchasing this machine. This machine washes well and does what it says it will do; however, I do not recommend it for shorter stature people. I wish I would have listened to other reviewers about this one aspect alone. Would I recommend this machine to a friend or family member? Well, this is really depending upon your height before doing so.

We are very pleased with our purchase! It is quiet and does not vibrate with bulky loads. We purchased the matching dryer as a set, and they are very compact and streamlined. Highly recommend this set to anyone!

Purchased this because my front loader went out. Never buy a front loader. Have you ever seen how they're built? all that weight and stress on a spindle and the spider gives out and then you get all that noise because the washer is not spinning center. I purchase this washer because it's not just a top loader but because of the features as well.

We've gone through about 4 front load washers in the last 15 yrs so I was ready to try a top loader. Needed an extra large capacity for my family of 7. Have had the washer about 3 weeks now and love it! Clothes seem cleaner and wash faster than the front loaders we've had. Now I need a larger dryer!

This LG washer is great, Not only is it HIGH TECH and looks great and modern, but it also has many features I have never seen before. It actually calculates the amount of water needed based on the load you put in. It is efficient, quiet and can handle the largest comforter or large load you have.

So on a Sunday afternoon, our old washer decided it had enough. It was about 8 years old. So I did some research and this one kept popping up on the best of lists. So ordered online. As usual quick installation and disposal of old unit. Still learning all the various features. Works great!

I can't lie. We stood there and watched the first load like it was our favorite tv show. There is so much room in there, and it senses how heavy/large your load is. I'm already in love with it, and I know I made the right choice.
