All of my whites are ruined . City water tied pods detergent bleach in every load- can't even get white towels clean waste of water and waste of time . Here's some sheets after one hour and 40 minute cycle with a soak... why bother ! Spend the money on a speed Queen washer - do not buy this terrible terrible machine !

It was time for a new washer and dryer. My old ones were the economical basic washer and dryer of the day (20 years). I purchased the matching gas dryer with this washer. The first day after delivery, we have done 5 loads of laundry. These machines work awesome. They are highly rated by Consumer Reports and just about all customer reviews. I see some negative reviews and I suggest that one reads the instructions completely. The machine is very easy to use but does not operate anything like an older washer. This measures the weight of the load and adds water accordingly. This washer uses way less water than my old machine and my laundry comes out very clean. I have soft water so I used very small amounts of HE detergent. By doing this, I don't have any issues with soap residue on my clothes. This machine does an excellent job rinsing out all of the soap. I think it's possible that some of the reviewers are using a non-HE detergent or too much. I am able to get a king size comforter loaded and clean, no problem. I highly recommend this washer, along with the matching gas dryer. Both are excellent products.

Use half the soap recommended. Water does not cover the clothes while washing.

Squeaks during wash - help! Pls tell me how to fix

I am having problems with this item. If clothes are left in dryer, then they do not stay dry, they become damp. The Geek Squad delivery guys very possibly may not have hooked item up correctly, but will be voicing this concern shortly.

Worst washing machine ever!! The water level never gets high enough to cover the clothes. I have to turn the washer off and back on at least 3 times per load to get the water level high enough.

The washer is great but just make sure Best Buy dose not deliver you an open box unit when you buy a new unit like they did me. If you buy this unit just make sure when they deliver it that it is new.

Hate the washer. Would never buy it again. Such a huge learning curve. Hit or miss getting clean clothes. Very time consuming to start your washing cycle.

Quiet, preset settings are great, clothes smell clean! HUGE tub, cut washing time by 1/2. Queen bedding washes well, with room to spare. Love this washer.

Great Lcd screen . Just touch Lcd setting lightly to change water temperature spin speed etc. this is like a Cadillac model from all the other washer i ever owned. Only washed a few load. sheet & work clothes. So not sure how good it as cleaning clothes. But so far best washer I ever owned. I recommend it to any one. Better than any whirlpool, Amana ( seed queen), Maytag. . I never buy those washer ever again. They lasted on average 7 yrs. Pretty bad when u spend so much on washer that it can't even last 10 + yrs. So far Lg seem to have higher quality machine than any American made brand. Even Kenmore products have very poor quality washer.. My brother had one . It did not last very long either. Sad day when American can't even make a quality washer any more. Look like most company only car about the money not their products . In fact they made them to wear out so u have to buy them more often.. . i update my review as time goes on.

We've had this washer for 6 years and it is amazing! Cleans thoroughly, is quiet, and can fit large loads. No issues so far!

I've had this machine for a few weeks now. It's working fantastic, fits SO many clothes, and cleans great. Couldn't be happier.

To be fair, we've only had this machine for about two weeks. So far, we are loving it. After reading several reviews about the water levels, vibration and noise, the only issue so far, is that sometimes, there is water in the detergent reservoir. We simply drain it and move on. It washes our close in half the time, the water levels are fine, its much quieter than our old machine and we love the WiFi feature. Like I said, so far so good!!!

We have had our machine for about 2 years now. We bought the 5 year warranty on this unit , and also the LG Dryer. Todays date is 06/28/2019 . We started having issues with it about 5 days ago . We have in located in the garage. For the last few months , every so often we can hear load knocking noice , which would stop after 10-20 seconds . We figured it was off balance , and corrected itself. Well about 5 days ago the wash plate was floating on the top. Somehow it came unattached from the bowl . So I called the warranty dept ., and unfortunately the system was going thru a upgrade , at least that's what I was told. finally today they said it was fixed , and they set up a appointment for tomorrow between 1-5 pm. Meanwhile I took the cap off the plate and noticed the screw was half out. I'm thinking how is that possible . So I tried to screw the plate back on , ran a cycle , and the plate came off again . I gave up, I'll just wait for them to come out tomorrow. Meanwhile , Under the wash plate trapped between the top and bottom of the plate was a lot of sludge , Which I'm thinking , why is that not being drained or washed away.. And by the way after that test I ran all the clothes had the sludge all over it. So then I started doing my research in the meantime before the tech comes out . Comments are saying that gear like neck strips out , and that why did LG make such a weak part seeing it was constantly moving during the cycle. I would love to talk to somebody at LG who can maybe shine some light on how to avoid problems like this . Honestly , we are a little disappointed after spending all this money on LG appliances and having these issues after only 2 years.

After reading some of the other reviews, I decided to buy this washing machine mainly because it was a very attractive price and the water company offers a $300.00 rebate. Comparable front loaders were much more expensive. The Good: 1.very good price + rebate 2. attractive appearance 3. after a careful reading of the manual and a couple tries, it's very easy to use. A few button pushes and you're set. 4. "normal" wash cycle is 58-60 minutes - longer than my old center agitator washer, but not bad. The Odd: makes odd clicking noises and jerking motions as it tries to estimate the load size to determine how much water to add. The noises are not loud and if you are easily amused, you may enjoy watching. Also, it plays a jaunty little tune when the wash is complete. The Bad 1. the instructions say to not load above the top of the drum which might cause one to think that the washer can handle a full load - it can't. After running a few tests of different amounts of clothes, I would suggest loading no more than 1/2 to 2/3 full, especially if washing large items such as jeans or jackets. There is not enough water and the agitator, being on the bottom, is a bit challenged. Bedding (including sheets) are best washed separately. For certain a queen size comforter (which does fit below the top of the drum without persuasion) will come out with undissolved detergent - even if you run it twice on the "bedding" setting. The "bedding" setting seems to increase the amount of water which would probably give a better result (although partially defeat the purpose of owning an HE washer), but I have not tested enough yet to be sure. 2. the washer is a little taller than traditional washers and the drum is wide and deep. If you are short, you may need a stool to reach to the bottom

Great washer that does big loads. It is now 4 years old and we have no problems with it. Looking for the matching dryer now.
