I selected it because I knew it would fit in my hall laundry closet and I had really liked the old version. This one seems a little less sturdy, but has smart features that I have yet to use.

Now when i use the liquid softener I can still smell it after I dry my clothes, towels, etc. Before I had a samsung and I did not smell the scent. My clothes and towels feel softer. I recommend LG.

It is WiFi enabled, which I thought funny, but it is SO nice to be notified when the load is done and not have a loud annoying buzzer sound. It does a great job cleaning. And the spin dry is amazingly good. Makes the drying quicker as well. No regrets!

It was the top rated washer/dryer combo according to Consumer Reports. It was the highest rated in reliability, cleaning performance, and damage to laundry. However, I am very upset about how much water the machine thinks a load needs. If I have a load that is below a medium load I set the dial for "Deep Wash" which is supposed to use more water. After it fills with water and starts agitating there isn't enough water to cover several pieces of laundry. Furthermore, the clothes sitting above the water level never get pulled down into the water. I have to run a "Rinse and Spin" cycle after a load finishes because the clothes didn't all go under water. When I run the "Rinse and Spin" cycle using "Water Plus" there was so much soap left that the water was a milky white with tons of soap suds. I regret making this purchase!

The WiFi connection is lacking in friendliness and following the directions to the letter I have been unable to connect the machine to take advantages of those features. Love the size and the options.

I wish the top would break down when opened, makes for a better fit under cabinets. My last LG had this feature, I assumed all the model in this price range had that.

I've only used normal and bedding settings. But I love that the sensor figures out the size of the load and adjusted the time, water level, and skin cycle to suit the size and weight of each load. Super happy with this one! =-)
