Great washer overall just too sensitive when u overload

Have a problem with certain blankets or robes. Machine becomes unbalanced and I have to wring out blanket or robe by hand. Or I just keep getting the same error code. Probably should have gotten the side load.

uses less water; love the app feature; needs more power

This is by far the most terrible washing machine I have ever owned. DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE. It has broken after under 3 months of use. Best Buy geek squad were extremely unhelpful organizing a repair, put me on hold three times then forwarded the call to LG television repairs. The noise that is coming from this washing machine sounds like a plan going down. LAST TIME I BUY FROM LG. DO NOT BUY LG

Agitator free washer with drum interior texture to provide cleaning friction actually shredded my blanket to small pieces! I was shocked. I have since used delicate cycle for all washing with good results.

I purchased this machine about a month ago. I am not 100% satisfied. Seems like not enough water in the tank. Do you have to play around with the programs to find the right one for my need, I cannot select hot water with most of the programs.

I decided to replace my 20 year old Kenmore and I really regret my decision! My new washer LG is poorly designed. The basic flaw is that you cannot manually adjust the amount of water. You have two options; either very little water ((cycle normal), which means your clothes smelling of detergent, or you choose options deep wash or bedding, which fills the tub with too much water if you only have a free shirts to wash. An option would be add water once a cycle starts. But this does not work well. If you stop the cycle to add water with a bucket, then the machine thinks you have a lot of clothes (because of the weight of wet clothes) and you end up with a full load of water (the whole 5 cu inches) and same thing for the rinse. This is not what a high efficiency washer should do. LG needs to hire some better programmer. Another more minor issue is that the manual is useless. It does not indicate how to operate the washer ((besides telling you to press the start button and choose a cycle). You can find instructions on line but not in a pdf format which is not convenient. Other issue is the Wifi. The App does not tell you how to find the password that you need to log in. And if you do find it, the App loads but does not work. Basic conclusion: I am returning this washer for another brand.

Two major complaints! Firstly, this washer is not at all effective at balancing a load...jeans are bad...and when it goes into the spin cycle you'll want to be on hand to pause the cycle and re-balance the load yourself. Secondly, this washer only does a fair job of turning over laundry and It's usually necessary to either pause it and switch to a cycle that uses LOTS of water and completely fills the tub...or just start out with one of those cycles to begin with. Either way, water usage is much more! I am currently awaiting Best Buy service tech to check out operation.

I purchased this washer August 2020. It started having power issues in October. I would wash a load and then after completing the cycle it would no longer power on. I had a service repair technician sent out after calling Lg and he ended up replacing the entire top panel in December 2020. It took about 2 months to get that part in. The washer worked fine for 1 month. January 29th 2021, the power issue happened again. The technician is here today trying to resolve this continuous problem. For a wager that is brand new, I have never experienced these kinds of issues. I am frustrated beyond the point of being nice. I want Best Buy to purchase back this machine so I can actually get something that will last. I do not recommend this product to anyone!
