WORST MACHINES EVER

I bought a LG laundry machine and dryer and I have to constantly clean the scum out of it. Something is wrong with the way it is designed because it constantly needs to be laundry tub washed or I have to manually deinstall the parts to clean out the soap scum. The automatic tub wash DOES NOT clean well. Also it does not clean large loads. I can only clean two towels maximum with certain clothes and it will not spin well. Or have an error. And it will try to refix it self by wasting reloading and filling it with so much water so in the end this is not an energy efficient product. This is my 3rd LG machine and I thought I would give it one more try but nope not even one year old and it is already causing issues. I will never buy any more LG products again.

Save your money, don’t buy this

I would never on another LG appliance. My clothes were never clean. The washer did not work right from the day that I bought it and the pump seized up in February 1923 and had to be replaced. Needless to say I did not replace it with an LG.

Need more water!

But they don’t use enough water to wash the clothes. I have to add water before I start the cycle every time. I want to go back to the old pedestal type of washer.

Broke twice in the first 6 months

In September an internal hose came loose & flooded our laundry room causing more than $5K worth of damage. An LG official repair man came to 'fix' the machine and 2 days ago, Feb. 2, 2020 the SAME internal hose 'broke' again. We had water flooding our room and now the damage is in excess of $10K. I would never trust this machine again and am currently fighting with LG as they simply want to 'fix' it again. Are they crazy? Really disappointed with the initial response from LG.

Wish I had tried a front-loading machine instead.

No matter the load size, the clothes on top NEVER EVEN GET WET. It just sloshes the water around a bit and never pulls the clothes on the top to the bottom to redistribute the load to wash everything. I've tried every setting there is. I find myself stopping the wash every 15 minutes to manually push the clothes on the top to the bottom so they get some washing action too. What is the purpose of an "automatic washer" if you have to babysit it? I really wish I had returned it but I was sick for a while and never got to call the store. Get an agitator washer and do yourself a favor.

Good machine, but sensitive!

The clothes are always cleaned, but it seems to be very sensitive to water volume. Anything heavier than towels seems to throw the sensors off. :(

It takes a lot to learn something that should be straightforward. It would be better to the option to have between 3-5 fixed water levels for the amount of clothes to wash. The High Soil feature wastes a ton water defeating the purpose of "High Efficiency". Save your time, money and water by buying a washing machine that doesn't have digital features.

This one makes a clanging sound at times. If something is loose or going out, I hope it does so during the warranty period!!!

The serviceman with the geek squad said he would take the machine but never did. It's really strange.

Received a replacement within a month error code popped up again. Issues with protection after receiving replacement now washer is completely broke and it's only been 3 months since I bought it. Issues not covered by LG warranty now I'm out of a washer.
