There is a high pitch squealing sound after the washer filled on any water level. I had a technician come out twice and it’s still not fixed..I am extremely disappointed it is very expensive washer and I didn’t anticipate anything to happen soon..

Washer is ok

The washers solution is to keep adding water and draining, LG customer support was also not helpful. Lacks a Spin only cycle.

Supposed to be able to do big loads but again not as big as the old front loader . On the plus side it doesn’t get smelly like the old front loader did.

Garbage with impossible service

Constant issues with the machine not draining, incredibly loud noises while draining, not stopping when we try to pause. We tried for ONE YEAR to contact support with no success. I will never purchase from LG again. Best Buy is also at fault in my opinion as we attempted to work with them but they referred to LG who never addressed the issue. Please don’t repeat our mistake, DO NOT PURCHASE LG NO MATTER WHAT.

Frustrated

This was highly recommended by consumer reports but I've had problems repeatedly. From sheets becoming an unbalanced load I have to manually correct to a load that had soap still in it. I don't even use a full scoop of soap in a full load. I have to wash some heavily soiled loads more than once. Very frustrated. I should've kept my 11 yr old washer that I had to climb behind an unplug every 20 loads, that would be less frustrating. Oh and I can't hear the signal when a load is complete even with it turned up all the way.

Not good need new motor and rotor after 1 months

And it take15 day on the top. To actually get parts and repair I couldn't believe lg not that reliable

The lid of the washer has no seal on it. Condensation comes out the front of the washer and the front of all wet after each load.

Posted .How to Get the Best Results from a HE Top Load Washer: Always use a laundry detergent with the HE label. These products are formulated to create fewer suds which is important since so much less water is used. More is not better when there is less water in the mix. Most loads only require one to two teaspoons of HE liquid laundry detergent or one single-dose pack. If you do not use the automatic detergent dispensers, place the detergent in the bottom of the drum BEFORE you add your dirty clothes. All single dose laundry packs must be placed in the bottom of the washer - never the dispenser. This will give the detergent the longest amount of time in the water to help get your clothes clean. When you load a HE top load washer, do not pile the clothes in the center. Evenly distribute the dirty clothes around the edges of the wash plate. This will help balance the load more quickly and speed the wash cycle. For best performance, load clothes as shown in manual on page 14. Load clothes loosely, and do not load clothes over the maximum guideline on the tub. Clothes need room to circulate in order to get clean. It was used six months at a time twice for a total use of about a year. The whole mother board quit working to the tune of a $400 fix. I should have just bought a cheap one to replace it for that price!

Worst washer

Most of the time I look inside and 3rd of the clothes are above water and clothes come out without fresh detergent smell. What a piece of junk. Also half the time the button to start doesn't work. Only 6 months old but will get a new one if I can sell this one for scrap metal.

Horrible Washer

It literally does the worst job of washing I’ve seen. You have to run it on deep wash or get enough water to clean your clothes properly, the other cycles are pointless and worthless. I bought it before I got settled into my new place so it’s past the point of return, otherwise I would return this garbage. Usually LG is a good brand, but I will be more hesitant before purchasing their appliances again.
