Oh, it is less than a year old, I have to contact LG because it is their problem. I didn’t and two different people assured me it would work now, it was the drain pump. Second load of clothes, sooooooo slow that no way could clothes possibly get clean.

It does a horrible job washing and rinsing my clothes. I have done research and I'm following all the manufacturer guidelines, "soak" "Warm" "Extra rinse" One load of laundry now takes 1 hour and 45 min. How is this efficient? My cloths come out covered with detergent and extremely twisted out of shape. Yes, I'm using HE detergent. I am not happy with this product, but dreading going back to Best Buy to see how they will take care of me a a customer.

We had to do it our self we put the old machine out in the deck that was 6 weeks ago still waiting for it to be picked up I have called Best Buy and been asking to hear from management for 6 weeks and no one has called. So disappointed I use to shop at Best Buy for computers got my old frig, stove and dish washer there never had a problem before. This was too much. Never again will I shop at Best Buy. If your smart stay away!!!!!!

The first wash did not go so well. I thought perhaps I needed the HE detergent to make sure it works properly. after introducing HE detergent, it still did not wash our clothes well. It also left soap on the garments and needed extra rinses. It also leaves a mildewy smell on clothes even if you remove them from wash immediately to dry. It was very disappointing as I encouraged my husband to make this purchase. I was dazzled by the options and technology but it failed at almost everything that matters in a washing machine. We will be returning it.

I cannot say that I like it. You cannot control the water level as you want it to be. Depending on the cycle you select, it can take anywhere from one and a half hours to two hours to complete a wash. due to not being able to select my water level as I want it to be, I cannot recommend this washing machine.

I use half the detergent that I used in my old machine, plus use an extra rinse and the clothes still had detergent spots on some of the clothing. The cycles take at least 30 minutes longer than a machine with an agitator.

Posted .We are sorry to see you are having trouble with your washing machine. Always use a laundry detergent with the HE label. These products are formulated to create fewer suds which is important since so much less water is used. More is not better when there is less water in the mix. Most loads only require one to two teaspoons of HE liquid laundry detergent or one single-dose pack. If you do not use the automatic detergent dispensers, place the detergent in the bottom of the drum BEFORE you add your dirty clothes. All single dose laundry packs must be placed in the bottom of the washer - never the dispenser. This will give the detergent the longest amount of time in the water to help get your clothes clean. When you load a HE top load washer, do not pile the clothes in the center. Evenly distribute the dirty clothes around the edges of the wash plate. This will help balance the load more quickly and speed the wash cycle. For best performance, load clothes as shown in manual on page 14. Load clothes loosely, and do not load clothes over the maximum guideline on the tub. Clothes need room to circulate in order to get clean. I have tried all the recommendations and still my wash is not clean. It leaves pieces of dirt and debris and stains. I have to rewash constantly which increased my water bill. My 20 yr. old washer did a much better job than this one does. I would not recommend this washer at all.

Worst experience with BestBuy and their appliances

I try the others like delicates heavy it just gets stuck in spinning and does not go beyond that. I have extremely upset waited more then 6 months to get them delivered and was ready to enjoy them but I can not. The dryer does not dry the clothes I have used all the functions and the clothes are still not dryer I put it in heavy duty to dry yet nothing. I have put them to dry for 3 hours and nothing. I am so upset.

Washer had problems but BestBuy was worse!

Took about a month for our laundry room to be completed. When we installed our washer it did not work properly. Contacted BestBuy but because it was over 15 days they basically said "too bad". Now i have to deal with LG. Next time I'll go elsewhere. Fifteen days! That's BS!

LG only has 1 year warranty the motor is a 10 year but they dont tell you you have to pay $135 just to have a repair tech come take a look at it. FOR THIS PRICE YOU SHOULD NOT BE HAVING TO PAY TO HAVE A REPAIR IN LESS THAN 22 MONTHS! JUNK JUNK JUNK!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I couldn’t be more disappointed in a washing machine. I arrange my clothes carefully and yet it is frequently off balance. Now, 16 months after purchasing it, it won’t start. I have tried everything in the manual and it simply will not start. The “start” button has always been miserable to use - requires a lot of pressure to start the machine. It is very, very disappointing and I will never buy an LG product again.
