I’ve bought so much at Best Buy. Actually 2 sets of washer and dryers over the last 6 months and been a customer since they came to our area 20 years ago. This washer is 6 months old and the tub will not fill. BB said we had to call LG and LG says we have to pay a technician. I am just so baffled.

Clothes are on the sides after wash then it goes to rinse. Clothes don't move from the sides during rinse. Hardly any water in rinse. Clothes still have soap. Tried using barely any soap. I have to run a separate rinse cycle to get the clothes rinsed. Separate rinse cycle does the job. Washes taking 1 1/2 hours.

Check out the following information for how to Get the Best Results from a HE Top Load Washer: Always use a laundry detergent with the HE label. These products are formulated to create fewer suds which is important since so much less water is used. More is not better when there is less water in the mix. Most loads only require one to two teaspoons of HE liquid laundry detergent or one single-dose pack. If you do not use the automatic detergent dispensers, place the detergent in the bottom of the drum BEFORE you add your dirty clothes. All single dose laundry packs must be placed in the bottom of the washer - never the dispenser. This will give the detergent the longest amount of time in the water to help get your clothes clean. When you load a HE top load washer, do not pile the clothes in the center. Evenly distribute the dirty clothes around the edges of the wash plate. This will help balance the load more quickly and speed the wash cycle. For best performance, load clothes as shown in manual on page 14. Load clothes loosely, and do not load clothes over the maximum guideline on the tub. Clothes need room to circulate in order to get clean. Does not wash well at all

Leaks all over my laundry room

The water isn't coming from the hose, it's coming from the bottom of the machine. This is unacceptable for a new machine. Can't even last 5 months before it is dead.

I replaced a 2 year old rotting Samsung washer with this one. 4 months later the electronics had to be replaced. 5 months after that they have to be replaced again. LG customer service is appalling and repairs take at least a week. It is not worth it.

Poor quality, flooded home, dissapointment

If you search 'leak' in the reviews, or search online, you'll see this is not uncommon. This machine lasted a few days more than a year - the machine we replaced was 14 years old. Very poor quality.

The washer uses excessive amounts of water when using the bedding cycle. The machine is very sensitive to the weight of items that you put in the wash, yet when you intervene and take out items or move items to balance the machine the machine continues to add water.It uses excessive amounts of water to balance the weight of the clothes. I would not recommend buying this machine.
