I loved it but then it literally destroyed itself. After a load of laundry it literally tore itself apart. looks like someone took a pry bar to it. the drum is broken, the top will not open and the sides are pulled out.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this washer for a month and believe I can write an accurate, unbiased review now. This washer is EXCELLENT. First off, I was initially looking at the 5.5 cu ft. LG's because I wanted a big washer that could handle comforters and other large bedding type items with no problem while also washing clothes really well. However, I settled on this model instead and the tub is HUGE. It can accommodate two comforters at once and still has room left. It can handle HUGE loads of clothing so our actual laundry loads being washed has been cut in half. The machine washes clothes perfectly and with the TurboWash 3D and additional water features it really senses the size of the wash vs. the amount of water needed. As a matter of fact, the first phase of each wash is "Sensing" in which it does a small dry run of about a minute of the tub components moving around and sensing the size/water needs. I think this washer is perfect for any size family or household, and is especially good for larger families with lots of laundry each week. It is easy to use, washes the clothes great, supposedly saves on water (which I can't verify yet) and is a solid machine. I highly recommend this machine to anybody, it is well worth the price and so far, so good.

Made a very loud clunking noise like something was going to fall out. Also made a high pitched noise that only younger people could hear. Vibrated my walls 2 rooms away. If it wasn't for all the noises, it seemed like a decent machine. Returned

Poor installation and customer service

The installation and customer service though has been an absolute nightmare which is really my only reason for the poor rating. The machine is great, I would recommend it. We had it in our previous home that we rented and decided to purchase one for our new home as well.

Delivered late, installed incorrectly

Washer did not show up with scheduled delivery and then went it was delivered, and installed by Best Buy incorrectly, it ruined some clothing as it only washes with hot water. Given time of between 12pm and8pm. Waited all this time and no delivery and no phone call. Very disappointed. Payment and appt made 3 weeks ago to ensure delivery made by move in date which is tomorrow 10/31. Would appreciate communication from someone.

Be careful...Control panels lasts for 20 washes.

This was in a rental and was barely used. I had to spend $530 for a new control board. SUCKS!!!!!

LG not so good

It refills with too much water and starts the process again. Very frustrating . We purchased it at Best Buy and regret the purchase almost every day. What a terrible product.

No manual as to how to operate and the online one does not help in any way. Never looks like enough water in a load nor do the cloths move during the cycle, the ones you put on top are still on top at the end of cycle.
