I do not like it at all. I hate my clothes being all wrinkles when come out of the wash.

I had to return the washer and exchange it for a new one. The motherboard was not working correctly.

I had to replace my old unit because of annoying noise, and the spin cycle is nearly nonexistent. The clothes always come out wet after the wash was completed. I had a in-home advisor recommending this washer along with a matching dryer. My problem of wet clothes are gone. I did several test washing, and am very please with the purchase. The buttons are very easy to operate, and it has a modern look. It has an easy melodic chime once the wash is finished for about 5 seconds. It is not loud, or anything like that.

Expensive and quality of this appliance is poor. Would not recommend this appliance.

Best buy would not install the appliances So haven't used.

This is our first high efficiency washer, after our traditional top loader pooped out after 20 years. This washer, like other HE's I've seen, uses FAR less water than an older model. Using just the normal setting, I've noticed that really smelly, sweaty gym clothes do not get entirely clean and smell free. Kind of an issue. The normal cycle is fine for normal washing without anything heavily soiled or overly smelly. You need to use the feature to add water if you have smelly or very dirty clothes as the normal setting may not use enough water to sufficiently wash out nasty stuff. I don't say this is a problem particularly with this washer, but one that's probably true of all HE washers in general. It was a good deal at $649 during Cyber Monday. That you need a special setting to "de-smell" gym clothes is my reason for the 4, and not 5, star rating. Other than that, it's relatively quiet and easy to use.

This was our first LG Washing Machine purchase. Let me say, my wife and I are very pleased with this washing machine. We traded in our old Samsung after 10 years (the one recalled over exploding drums, which Samsung fixed). Even though it still worked when the matching dryer failed, we went to LG. The LG unit is very quiet compared to the Samsung, and it does a great job with washing the clothes. Being rated at a 5.0 capacity, it'll do the large loads. LG appears to have done a pretty good job with this unit. It's a buy if you need a large capacity washer. Drake our Best Buy Representative was great during the entire purchase process. A special thank you goes out to Drake and the Best Buy Team at the Hamburg Pavilion Store. Keep up the great work, and customer service.

Love this washer. Very easy to use. Stainless steel barrel and glass top which I love being able to see my laundry as it progresses to the finish. Also the machine is extremely quiet!

I have had this washer for a little over 2 years now and so far, it has been a great washer. I have enjoyed the functionality, the space, and general ease of use being able to wash almost anything in the house. One thing to note is the liquid use. As this is a HE washer I understand it uses as little water as possible to wash a load of laundry. The bad side to this is that it tends to not completely soak all the clothing in large loads. It may be that there is too much laundry, but I try and make sure it is 6-8 inches from the top of the tub. Unfortunately, there is not a “fill to” line like some household items. The way around this is to specify a large load and not use the smart sense feature. Here is another caveat with the smart sense feature, should you start a load, and the washer gets turned off by say a power outage or a little one’s hands pushing buttons, you are kind of up a creek. If you try and start the load again, the smart sense feature thinks you are washing a ton of clothing since the clothing it has in there is wet from the previously interrupted load. It will fill up very high thinking it has to compensate for so much weight of the clothing in the washer. You either must take everything out and wring it more dry or take out good potions and wash small loads. Otherwise, use the size feature instead of the smart sense. Other than those small things it has been a wonderful washer. Good luck with this and may you enjoy it for many years. P.S. Vying for a spot as a Tech Insider Network member!!

Only had it for a week, but so far so good. This washer really holds a lot of clothes. What used to be a medium load on my old washer is a tiny load in this one. So now I have to figure out how much detergent to use. I do see the water does not cover the clothes all the way like my old washer, but I think it moves the clothes around so that they all get a turn in the water. Clothes come out clean and smells nice. It's much quieter than my older washer. You can still hear it. It's unrealistic to expect no sound at all. Have not tried the wifi yet, not sure if I will.

My wife and I needed a new washer / dryer pretty badly since our previous one just up and died. I went in with something in mind but was informed the one I was looking at was being discontinued and was pointed to this LG machine. The reviews / quality ratings on this machine is outstanding, anyone that goes to the store ask to see this. We decided to purchase this even though it was a tad more expensive than what we wanted. The features on this device are absolutely mind blowing and its a good day when the washer / dryer are smarter than you (lol). The washer can be connected to the LG app on your phone and can be started remotely (need to have the option enabled each time before it will work, kinda limits the availability of it. The washer does seem to take a long time to wash (roughly 1 hour under normal settings) but this cleans the cloths extremely well. I did not setup the legs on the washer just to test the anti-vibration settings and I will admit that I am impress by this and does not bounce or knock at all. I have put this washer through the ringer from cloths, towels, bedding, completely rim full and with only one or two items and the washer and exceeded any expectation I had. I still recommend getting the warranty to anyone that buys this. I also need to add that the 5.0 CU. Ft tub on the machine is absolutely GIGANTIC! my wife is basically 5 Ft nothing and has no issues reaching to the bottom of the tub to get the clothing.

This thing can wash a ton of clothes at a time and there are many, many settings to make sure your clothes will not be damaged by wrong temperature or rough treatment. Sips water compared to older washers that use dozens of gallons. All washers with the agitator on the bottom can cause your clothes to get twisted up a little bit, so if you are trying to avoid ironing shirts wash them on delicate cycle.

We’ve only had it a few weeks but are still loving it. It’s our first LG washer/dryer set and so far are very impressed with the quality. The washer is surprisingly quiet and intuitive to use.

I've only run 2 cycles since I got this earlier today so I can't recommend this based on any 'long term' usage. What I will say is that I like it so far. One load was a queen comforter and sheets. Handled them without any issue. Controls are simple. Wifi was easy to configure and Remote Start worked flawlessly. It's a neat feature but honestly, I don't think it's something that will get used much. Now, the general push notifications that alert you when the cycle is finished will be nice. This replaced a ~4.5 year old Samsung with the "mold" problem. Yuck!!!! Can't imagine that I will ever buy another samsung appliance. I like their TV's and phones though. I'll try to reply to this or update it in the future if I ever do have an issue. Hopefully this one will outlast the Samsung by far.

Excellent large capacity machine. Big water savings due to the huge capacity load one can do. Love Not having the agitator in the middle. Does a Fantastic job

Impressed with the large capacity and ease of use. Hope it doesn’t “crap out” after 3 years of use like My top-of-the-line LG dishwasher!!!
