Still not familiar with using it but so far it it good

This is the worst washer I have ever owned. I'm 70 years old and have some experience. It does not fill with enough water to half cover the items. It is constantly out of balance. It was professionally installed and I have called customer service. They are absolutely no help. I hate the locking lid as you can't rebalance the items yourself, nor can you add a forgotten item. It is NOT EFFECIENT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. I TRULY HATE THIS MACHINE. OH, it also washes forever without getting anything completely wet. I watched a video about tricking it into providing enough water. That's what I want to do, trick the machines. Most likely designed by men who have never used a washer in their lives.

Disappointed. It worked quite well but in just 4 yrs the power/control panel just died. Out of nowhere. Working as normal one day and next no power. Had everything checked on our end with our outlet/breaker and it was the control panel on the machine. We expected more from a manufacturer like LG.

Washer has many different cycle settings. It will sense how much water to use in the cycle based on how small/large of a wash load. Cycles are long & the spin cycle even though I set to delicate, the clothes when finished are very wrinkled & not too wet.

I thought I had done a complete research on the best washer and dryer to buy. We are very disappointed. It has a large capacity without an agitator. Clothes do not get washed thoroughly because they are not moved around like they should be during a wash cycle. It has a glass top and I watched an entire cycle and noticed that the top half of the load just remained on top the entire time without being sufficiently washed. The top half only got soaked and never washed. Very unhappy with our decision. Will select a machine with an agitator next time, it's an important feature. This machine does not deserve 5 stars.

We have had this washer for six months. We were washing our sheets, normal load. I put the sheets in the dryer. Everything appeared fine. Went to take the sheets out of the dryer and noticed water on the floor. Cleaned up water, inspected hoses, everything was dry and connected well. Turned on the washer and water immediately poured out from the bottom - ALL over the floor. Called LG and had a service tech come out. Now they need to order a part and use special glue (glue??!!) and we need to allow up to a week and half for part to come in. Totally unacceptable for a six month old washer!

The product was excellent and delivery as expected

Washer washes clothes great. Love large capacity. However, major design flaw, that I'm told by LG, that can't be fixed - you CANNOT wash in warm or hot water on Normal cycle. They're both cold once machine fills. You have to run a Heavy Duty or Bedding cycle to wash in warm or hot water.

LG makes top of the line washer and dryers and this one is no exception. It’s a great mid range one and I have no regrets buying it.

Great washer, we are very pleased with this unit. Clothes come out very nicely and the washer uses far less water than our old washer.

I bought this washer in 2019 and by 2020 it was already failing. It does a thing where you can't turn the power on. After googling, I found out this is a common occurrence and the solution is to hard reset. Ok, that's annoying but I can live with that. Well, after about a year of doing hard resets every time I want to run a load of clothes, that's now stopped working altogether. Even though I did my research and consumer reports said this was a good washer, I can promise you this is a total waste of money. Am I going to spend $200+ to repair an $800 washer that's only 2 years old? No, I'd probably rather buy a washer that isn't such poor quality that it would break within 18 months in the first place. BTW, LG customer service doesn't care.

Our washing machine from Best Buy went out over 2 weeks ago. We bought the extra warranty when we bought it so that if this ever happened, we could get it fixed. The first appointment we had, they just didn’t show up. I waited that day from 7am -12 noon and they didn’t even call. So when husband called them, they made the excuse that their system was down & said they would expedite it because it was a washing machine. When they rescheduled they first said April 8 but then changed to today from 11-3pm. I waited here all day and they again never showed up. No phone call or anything. They texted this morning and last night confirming the appointment. When I just called them, they again said they are sorry and understand we can’t live without a washing machine, so they are expediting it to a manager and they will get back to us in 24-48 hours. I’ve already spent $50 at the laundromat and have to go back again tonight. We are also in the process of moving plus I’m working on top of it. What happened to customer service these days? I thought Best Buy Corporate Headquarters was a reputable company who honored their contracts. We are fixing to be out $100 because I have to go back to laundromat tonight to wash clothes. When I spoke to the Geeksquad Service Center employee, he said they didn’t even give a reason why they didn’t show up, on either day. We will NEVER buy another appliance from Best Buy here in Houston or anywhere for that matter. This is ridiculous. It’s not a TV or even a dish washer that went out. You can’t live without a washing machine. UPDATE: Now they are saying we have to wait until this Friday, the 19th. THAT IS A MONTH WITHOUT A WASHING MACHINE!!! And another $40 to go to the laundromat plus my time off to wait on them to come. I took off work the last 2 times. At this point, they are costing us more money than the warranty was worth! I am over this!!!!

Clothes don't get clean. Clothes don't even get fully wet. Normal cycle is defaulted to Turbo Wash and you can't change it. 48 minute cycle. Honestly I stood and watched the full cycle start to finish. 40 mins of the cycle was high speed spin in one direction no water was extracting from the clothes after the first 4 minutes of the spinning. The spin setting was set at normal. That high speed ineffective spinning takes a toll on the motor. Definitely not energy efficient. It will save on your water bill. It uses the same low amount of water for the wash and rinse cycle. Turbo Wash keeps your low amount of dirty water in the tub and just adds a very little amount of clean water as it half turns back and forth and considers that the rinse cycle. The only way to get clean clothes is to wash small loads in a the Deep Fill wash cycle.

I was fooled by the website that raved about this washer when I googled for the best washer. It is a False recommendation. There is never enough water to cover the clothes even though I use the extra water option. Comforters come out part not washed and dry, because of lack of water. The spin cycle makes a lot of noise. Quality of the cleaning is very poor. Also it is very expensive piece for absolutely being the worst washer I ever had.
