    Will not connect to wifi

    Purchased washer/dryer. Washer would not connect and contacted customer service everyday. I was told I needed 2 cellphones and a mobile hotspot to update firmware. Also, was repeatedly asked to provide a credit card number. Washer does clean clothes, but doesn't work with network. It was purchased to work with Alexa.

    Have had troubles with this washing machine since I purchased. Now it has a LE code that I am getting quoted $500 for. Only had for 3 years. Unless you get plan you are out of luck.

    Extreme Water Waster

    I hate this washer. It is very noisy. There were no charts to explain the different cycles. You tube videos may not be helpful. So far turbo wash is the only one that does what is supposed to do, water wise. Normal +Cold Wash* puts too much water in the rinse cycle. Deep Wash is erratic at best. Sometimes it puts a reasonable amount of water in the wash and rinse. Sometimes it fills the tub halfway during the rinse. Today I washed 6 normal bath towels. The wash cycle used a bit more water than usual and the rinse cycle stopped and added enough water to fill the tub to the maximum level. This is not a good choice for a drought area!

    Bestbuy on a downward spiral....

    New LG Washer has been out since last week-under Best Buy geek squad two year protection. Best Buy set up appointment for this TV repair man to show up between 8am - 5pm; only to not show up. Voicemail is non fuctional and sms texts are met with no response. Best Buy has no clue as to what is going on (nor do they care) along with having you waiting for call backs from them after 1-2 hours and only to come up with unconcerned shrugged shoulders and no answers. Best Buy is just as responsible for this fiasco!! Do not buy appliances bigger than a toaster as they are ill equipped to follow through. Orange TV and Best Buy should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of the consumer.

    2 bad LGs in a row

    I wish I'd paid more attention to the negative reviews before I bought this LG. This is our second LG in a row. The first one broke after less than 2 years. This one quit after 17 months of light use, when the DL error door lock indicator came on. The repairman ($95) called LG, who said the problem may be more extensive than just a new door latch. It likely needs a new panel, but we should start with a door latch replacement, for $289. So now I'm shopping for a new washing machine.

    DON'T EVER BUY a LG YOU WILL REGRET IT

    I will never buy LG again. Trust me, I have had multiple appliances over the course of my life. LG is definitely the least dependable. This washer started to malfunction 2 years after I bought it. A washer should last a lot longer than 2 years. I also had a LG dishwasher break within 3 years time. TRUST ME OR BEING DARING AND BUY ONE...LG IS NOT DESIGNED TO LAST. I WILL NEVER BUY LG AGAIN.

    Washer doesn’t wash your items good

    The dryer is awesome! The washer does not wash your items well at all, it doesn’t spin fast enough to clean anything and sometimes the dirt just sits on top of the items when it’s done washing. I paid full price and the washer isn’t worth it. The water level doesn’t always cover your items. I like a vigorous wash, with the spinner in the middle to actually grab your items and wash them. This washer just gently and slowly spins your items around and around the tub if the washer. Looks fancy, but doesn’t clean your clothes good.

    Tank leaked after 14 months.

    This would be a five star review if not for the fact that after 14 months of normal use, the washer failed completely. It started to profusely leak from the bottom of the unit, and when I called a serviceman out to take a look, the washer seal was destroyed and a bearing was no longer working as intended. I'm going to call the manufacturer today, because even though this is 2 months past warranty, there is no reason for this much of a failure on a machine.

    Power button failure...don't buy

    Have consistently had an issue with the power button on this washer. You press the button and nothing happens. Then you have to spend 10 minutes pressing around the start button and you might get it to start. I've tried the reboot recommended by the manufacturer and still have the issue. Don't buy this washer.

    Did LG ever try to use this machine

    the water sensor only seems to work for a small load.If you put a larger load it washes the cloths in 3 inches of water .Not even covering the cloths .If you put it on soak the cloths are just a little wet.If you put on add some water it goes to deep wash and fills the tub way over the cloths.Did anyone at LG try using the piece of junk?Your sensor does not work for anything but a small load.Wow all that money i spent on this

    Should have bought a 3-5 year extended warranty.

    Had this washer less than 2 years. Door Lock error (dL) turned out to be a defective door latch, further completed by a board malfunction. Estimate to repair is $600. Was rated high in Consumer Reports. Unfortunate!

    Poor Quality

    I got it two months ago, and it already broke. During use it started making loud noise and after that water started to come out under the washer machine. Customer service from BestBuy don't help with this matter they just give you a phone number from LG. It is not even 3 month old, if you dont get best buy warranty they will not help you. Avoid the headaches and shop elsewhere or take a chance with another brand.

    Today will be the 5th time out trying to fix the same problem, this washer does not got clothes clean! Clothes do not agitate to get clean. I would NOT recommend this washer! IF you own one you should watch for this problem, when the washer is filling it is mixing the detergent and fabric softener in at the same time.

      We are sorry to hear you are having issues using your new washing machine. Refer to the following information for how to get the best results from a HE top load washer: Always use a laundry detergent with the HE label. These products are formulated to create fewer suds which is important since so much less water is used. More is not better when there is less water in the mix. Most loads only require one to two teaspoons of HE liquid laundry detergent or one single-dose pack. If you do not use the automatic detergent dispensers, place the detergent in the bottom of the drum BEFORE you add your dirty clothes. All single dose laundry packs must be placed in the bottom of the washer - never the dispenser. This will give the detergent the longest amount of time in the water to help get your clothes clean. When you load a HE top load washer, do not pile the clothes in the center. Evenly distribute the dirty clothes around the edges of the wash plate. This will help balance the load more quickly and speed the wash cycle. Load clothes loosely, and do not load clothes over the maximum guideline on the tub.     3 weeks and already won't drain

    had to call service out with practically a brand new unit at only 3 weeks... tried to fix the error myself, but it says it's a bad pump. Hopefully they can fix it, but just bummed after spending so much money on a washer that we're still going to spend weeks at a laundry mat due to faulty engineering.

    Smells Terrible After Cleaning 10x And Not Fix

    Smells terrible and black stuff coming up. Geek Squad says it just needs to be cleaned after cleaning it over 10 times and LG says it's broken. No one is fixing and no resolution after 3 months and over $450 fixing problems.

    Terrible washer

    If I could give this washer zero stars I would. Worst washer ever. Its pretty, its large, it has many settings... it does not clean simple, regular, everyday soiled issues. I cant tell you how many times I've had to hand wash an item after pulling it out of this washer. Terrible washer. I do not recommend.
